dmca

Read that wrong pike sorry it's been a long day, but if you have a few files that generate a huge amount of traffic compared to 200 files that doesn't generate nearly as much traffic ofcourse you could say oh it's copyright infringement that's why i moved them, and have users constantly uploading new files to get new users to view streams, hence why you only get paid for unique views.

There is a way of knowing he receives notices, why not forward them notices to us upon removal so we know it's valid, and not just let me take down files for the hell of it so we can get different movies with different traffic comming after all we uploaded the content that was cause for the notice to be sent shouldn't we be entitled to view that or just take your word for it, And pike having internet plans for usage is a thing of the past, no one pays per mb/gb anymore.

Still i cant find any good reason why would they take your files down..

That would make some sense, but i belive that most of us here, uploading new files all the time...To make something clear,i really can understand your anger.

dmca

If that isn't the case why isn't there a automatic system in place upon removal that shows us the actual dmca complaint, it's not that hard to implement that feature.

Btw this took place right after I purchased a 1 month subscription I get more files removed in one day than an entire month coincidence or intentional?

All(nearly) of my uploads in putlocker offering only download links

i can't get the embed code,

i managed to get embed for only one.

they are over 700 mb. what is the problem, everything works in other host and they are offering embed code perfectly.

why?

please help,getting disappointed.

Many can be the reason and only Putlocker knows. And there is no reason for you to go that way. Some examples:

They want to free space as they offer both stream and download and you dont have any limit.
They want to avoid as many dmca as possible by removing files after 2-3 days or 1 week.
They can easily check files and remove them for copyright. They dont need dmca if they want to stay up for long time.

So forget about it.

dmca

Basically that just confirms what I thought about alot of these are probably not valid dmca request thanks!

And btw that is what a file hosting company is all about when you pay for a subscription based service if you distribute the links and you happen to get valid dmca complaints then ofcourse the content should come down if you just remove files "to free up space" then why is it called a file hosting company.

All what i posted are theories mate.

Might happening might not.You know the situation about copyright and filehosting services. They try to find ways to keep themselves off the hole. Also i have seen a file of mine removed 45 minutes after upload. There is no way that so many dmca come so fast.Anyway as we don't know and we guess.

Also Putlocker offers unlimited space.as other hosts offer 200-500gb space. So dont think about yourself only. Some thing have to happen. What you expect putlocker message you and say i deleted 20 files of yours cause they are 2gb each?

Roll with it..its better than running against it.

No but I do expect to get what I pay for and what the site clearly says in plain text which is unlimited file hosting, what you're saying is just plain ridiculous that a file hosting company is entitled to take preventative moves in order to prevent dmca complaints because a file has been sitting in a unlimited space which you pay for, and btw them other hosting companys the vast majority are free that limit the space. But I'm done for now on this topic.

i have files with 30.000+ views, still online.
so i would never blame put/sock deleting files with a lot of views!

i get dmca on new cinema movies... totally natural... i get them on other hosts, too...
no problem.

and why should put remove NEW releases HIMSELF??

stupid³

the site gets hits through new top releases... hits = premium sales = money for hoster....

agree with Escobar!! Put wouldn't be that stupid to earn less!
But I mirrored my links with the other 3 hosts, seems putlocker deleted a bit more than the rest coincidently.
Anyways, I'll observe it for a while and see if it's true...
If it's true, I think i will use put less...don't wanna wait my effort too much...and links being removed so fast :(

You guys are selfish. All you think is money..Being a host that users upload warez files its not only the money.

Some of you might cried when duckload, loombo, frogmovz etc died.So you want Put in the same condition?

Also all these are theories.I have files with 170k views and still up.I just said.

is there a way to make a file streamable, after being uploaded?

I mean, having a .avi as non-streamable file already uploaded, is there an option somewhere to make it streamable? don't seem to find it :x

thanks!

Moddag- you would have to re-upload it

chrispoolaholic-i love all your conspiracy theories, the world IS against you, really. As i said before we get hundreds of legit DCMA removal requests from content owners and their legal reps. We follow them and remove promptly. We cherish all of our clients and affiliates and try our best to be helpful, on time with payments and out going with special requests. Seems like you are not happy. No problem, i will personally refund your payment out of my own pocket and cancel your account-just tell me that is what you want and bring your business elsewhere.

We, nor do any other hosts target any specific files or user accounts for DMCA removal as this would be a waste of time and revenue. Hosts need traffic to grow and to make revenue. Not sure how much simpler it needs to be explained...

I didn't say I wanted a refund at all as im currently uploading, don't turn it into something I didn't, And I guess my "conspiracy theories" as you put it are just so far fetched and idiotic, implement a system to where we can see the dmca notices after all in the end we partake in some of the legal responsibility as well wouldn't you agree?

Putlocker no body say that we will leave put or need a refond ,:)

everyone here like this filehoster I know is not easy for you but keep moving
you have just to understand the Uploaders no body will be happy if comes and see for exemple 10 or 70 files has been deleted from hes account .
I know you delete the Files because of the dmca and it's ok if u didn't do that we will lose putlocker.

But as I always say : invest money rather than spend :D

that mean :

If the DMCA delete files you lose the traffic ( the money ) but you can get trafic from other movies

and we lose the movies ( the money ) but we can upload other movies and winn more money

( is a little difficult to understand )

so guys we have to stay together f****** the Dmca X-(

one movie gone let's upload 10
10 movies gone let's upload 100

putlocker give us a Level 2 Upgrade and free premium account why ?
that mean we are the best

payment always on time
the support is always available to help us

and i speak here for everyone and also for Chrispoolaholic If i say Putlocker is great

Daughter_of_Isis- wow, great tech support and customer service there. I am in shock...

we are not going to be able to implement the auto notification for DMCA's as that is a whole extra thing and we are working on getting things to run better without having those annoying downtimes.

...

Thank you putlocker for your response, didn't mean to bite your head off, just a little frusterated in the time that goes into uploading and putting out links, didn't mean to take them out on you or anyone, and thanks for the work going into your hosting company on making things more reliable. You are the best to compared to others by far.
