and this is so bad :/1: This will very likely be the speed we'll use in the future. It's fast enough for people to download without cancelled (complete % is high) and it has a good upgrade ratio.

3: The more files a user download the longer the delays will be. One of the many ways we get users to upgrade

Please post or PM me the URL your are downloading from. I suspect it might be the server you are connecting to..
Servers has plenty of capacity and I get speeds in excess of 100 mbit when downloading
PM me your username and I'll upgrade you to premium. Then you get more

I did not see your message. Our servers is not near capacity, I think you may notice a difference in speed because the other host you upload to is hosted in NL so they would have an advantage with the upload speed

Well, after 5 days of using Private Files i feel i can give a decent account of what i think of it,i will try to give a straight up opinion and be as fair as i can be, Great site, easy to navigate and good speed on downloads for users,
i requested the opinion of my users and everyone that shared his opinion gave positive reviews of the site, not a single negative answer! like i said, great site for users, i have had a couple of conversations with @PrivateFiles and he seemed to be very knowledgeable and also pleasant enough,
and am pretty sure that High Tier Uploaders will have a blast with Privatefiles, if he continues the same quality of service high tier users will love their Uploaders for making this service available to them...or so i think since am not a high tier uploader.
But if you are a lower tier uploader, at least for now Privatefiles is not the place to be, unless you are so big that you can offer an additional alternative downloading site just as a service to your users since you will not be making much money from it, he told me that he is working on it and starting later on this month he might be able to improve lower tier rates, but right now? well, no, private files is not the place to be.

The limits are 1gb if you are not registered, 2 gb if you register and 5 gb if you are premium

We do have plenty of downloads so it doesn't affect everyone. Since I saw the same issue I removed the captcha so we can further investigate the problem.

I am one of the active developers of the NeembuuUploader project. PrivateFiles is one of the hosts supported by NeembuuUploader. It has come to my notice that PrivateFiles has recently disabled guest uploads. I would like to know if this change is permanent or not, so that I can make the relevant changes to the project, accordingly.

We do not allow guest uploads, we are not planning to enable that in the future so please go ahead and make the changes.
