Mate, first my ISP using sharing IP and after that they rebuild their system and started from last month they giving dyamic IP. And i have PM Hish and FS IT about that at first chance. I reported that when i'm login ( after restart PC or modem ) my account must be had different IP last number, because my ISP format is XXX.XXX.XXX.YYY ( according what i've checked )

So far i have no problem with that, because the XXX.XXX.XXX still the same and Filesonic can check from which ISP that XXX.XXX.XXX belong to. ) I gave my ISP name too when i PM them.

If you used dynamic IP, Filesonic must be had record on that, they can see your IP format. Well, Filesonic must be have a reason to banned your account.
 
And what's if i login with my VPN? I have 10 countries, mine would be 11 (with my server)... will i be banned too or what? I'm only using a VPN and not sharing the account...?
 
There's a difference between downloading and uploading policy. You can upload from 10 countries and 100s of VPSes, but you CAN'T DOWNLOAD from 10 countries...
It's not like FSC invented that, it's rule on ALL file-hosts.

And what YOU are saying has nothing to do with WeeD's question...
Unless you suddenly use VPN, because WeeD mentioned it?

Yip... that's why i always have another "empty" account besides my "normal" account with my files... i only use the "empty" account for (remote) downloads... i use some services that are in a different country as i am...
 
some one tell me about remoteuploading in filesonic

hi guys i am new some one help me to using remote uploading in filesonic i have premium account of another filehost like filekeen but my data not transfer in filesonic please guide me dude

There's also the possibility that his account was hacked and someone posted it on a forum. I've seen some filesonic/fileserve accounts on warez sites.
 
The only problem I have is with the corrupted files... anyone knows when it is going to be fixed? x_X This is hurting my work efficiency big time.

So if i understand correctly,i got an account that i can only use from a single ip address to download? What if i go out of town,vacation or a trip to europe,or even "shock" use RDP to download files? Is there some sort of limit we cant cross for different ip logins or what? Im not trying to be rude but honestly where is this info posted at? Ive never shared my account with anyone,and now i could lose it for downloading from home and RDP as well? Hmm,thats pretty sad. :(

There should be extra criteria for determining abuse of a premium account if this is the case. It would be sad if we could only download our gmail or use some services from one ip,dont leave town or your email is useless. Im sure some users abuse in a major way,but those of us that download out of town or use RDP are punished as well? Hmmm,hope im misunderstanding or going overboard.....
 
There are people who know how to read data, and to know the difference between shared account, and account that is abused.

As long as you don't share it, you are fine. They are those who determine if you are abusing service or not. If anyone can come and say, oh, I didn't shared my account, and they eat that, there would be no need for anyone to buy an account, we could all use one same account...
There is no IPs mentioned, there is 10 countries, and 47 ISP, Internet service providers, in this story. Who knows how many IPs....
 
Yes youre correct,i mistakeningly mentioned IPs. I hope youre correct cvrle77. I definitely dont share my account at all. After reading all this though im pretty nervous for even what i use mine for
 
ok whats the deal with the corrupted files? i tried to find a hish post about it or reverse but got tired because all i read is people crying about accounts being banned (if youre abusing the service you should know whats going to happen -.-).

Is this going to last long because is really anoying, happens to ANY file randomly not just to DMCA ones ...(got a text i made corrupted)

Hi

Digital Fingerprint is a system that detects some of the copied .avi movies that were registered by the owner of the movie. It is something that we had to do in order to stay in the business!

Regarding corruption of files, it means that there was a problem during upload.. We are working on a permanent fix for that.

i dont care about the DMCA ones because if you upload those you know that probably will get deleted soon.

but some of my corrupted file were uploaded long time before this problem showed up :l
