I had the same problem
Pm ricky with your username and let him know the problem. He'll be able to fix. Or submit a ticket to Fileserve

@ pocs: I'll take that idea up with the techs. Is the search function really that slow? Slowed down?

:P it's really slow for the searching to be honest. If we can narrow down the search only for root folder, the searching time should be a lot faster.
it's quite slow recently.. hope this suggestion helps.

@rickyFS

You guys should really stop using whatever kind of script you're currently using for your filemanager.

It's so clunky and unresponsive 90% of the time, I have to reload the page a dozen times just to go into a couple folders. And this isn't just recent, its always happened for me.

Why not just have it like wupload does, where its instant and there's no loading what so ever? This also goes for creating a folder or moving files or anything like that.

Edit:

One more thing - Why am i not able to delete files in the "failed uploads" tab? They are just sitting there pending and i can't get rid of them.

Always been slow, sure not as slow as it is now with all the problems you've been having, but it has always lagged more than any other host's filemanager.

@ BadWolf & Tyler: Remember the story about the Old Ford Fiesta with a Lamborghini Gallardo engine? That's what's happening and is still happening. Unless you guys want to have all your files wiped, it will take the time it takes to migrate each and every server with the Gallardo engine.

I'm not talking about the files, I'm talking about the interface.

The interface\script you guys use is slow and sluggish.

Go ahead and compare it to ANY other filehost, and you will see how slow it is.

I think it's pretty fast, but that's maybe because I don't have 120,000 files in my account.

If we had the same knowledge we have today, we would have built a better FS from the beginning. You see our other competitors...They have had years to perfect their system and site. 1 year, 5 months. That's all I'm saying.
