Well, it's not like that in my case, as I'm talking about files stored on 'alive' servers, I only upload to the servers that supposedly counts downloads. And all I wanted is to find out the percentage RG is shaving off if any.

You're unable to confirm whether your visitors who are not premiums can download or not.
I also upload files to servers other than PR 15, 16, 18, 26.
However, 'some' visitors always say they couldn't click the free download button and download pages told them that they couldn't download multiple files in free mode, even they are currently downloading 0 files.
I have logout my premium accounts and downloaded them as a free user, but I cannot see the issue they said.
Hence I think it only happens in some regions, which are not mine or yours.

Unfortunately, according to some people's recent crying, those servers don't count downloads & sales.
 
Newrapidgator was online today, even after all these talks about counting problems and possible shaving, he didn't comment atall.

is that means he is accepting that he is shaving downloads, kinda confused.
 
Thanks for the answer. Im now not getting sales. Two days now. My files are mostly in .rars and ive noticed only part1.rar gets counted with downloads.. Maybe sales too? ><
 
What else could be expected from the "file-locker" business model? It's like a casino that uses "win-win" strategy to squeeze the money out of everyone. B-)

which filehost you have in mind, do you think RG is already back with a new name?
 
Well, I will continue using RapidGator 30 ~ 45 days and looking what will happen.
Maybe I will announce that I will stop using RapidGator on the 15th day, and let my visitors quit them gracefully.
Although there are too many negative rumors about FileRactor and File4Sharing, maybe I will go to their PPD plans in the future.
For PPS, maybe I will go to FileRose; I'm not sure.
 
hi everyone, can someone confirm that the reset/forgot password option does not actually work? i tried to login earlier and i could not. i checked my email and i found an email sent 10 hrs ago by RG containing i new password for my account. i don't remember utilizing the forgot password option yesterday and i have never used it before. i think my account might be hacked by someone. and so i tried resetting my password. an email was sent to me to click a link to reset the password and i followed the link. another email was sent containing another new password. i tried to use it but it does not work! i pm'ed newrapidgator to hopefully address the matter and am awaiting his reply. i just want to ask if the forgot password facility has ever worked for you?
 
well i wait till sunday. if RG dont start counting on pr26 and other cursed noncounting servers, from monday i start moving all my files to another host. in a month i say bye-bye to RG. (i estimate moving my files will be done by then) also considering on monday i tell my downloaders not to buy more sales, cuz i will delete links and remove all posts in 30 days

im waiting for server PR26 to be fixed.
