If you can not access the vps there is not much you can do. Bow I am not talking about in your client area I am talking about the actual vps, even if you can only ssh in you can retrieve your data but if you can't access there is nothing you can do now.

this is a mess!
I have my account there on their resellers plan and several clients
I need backups for it all. And looks like they are gone, even their site is now gone.
This will end up costing me a couple clients,
I need the backups for all I had on there for me and my clients.
Amazing mess!

You gave me in .tar format and when I uncompressed it, i got the files as:
db.opt, url.frm, url.myd, url.myi

Open that tar.gz file
Then go to mysql folder
You can see all the databases with .sql format

Thats what I am trying to say, I expected the same.
But when I extracted the .tar using my WinRar, all I got was this-
db.opt, tablename.frm, tablename.myd, tablename.myi
It seems you need to have root access to put in the folder directly. But I dont have that. Any other solution>?
