Not as good as the option not to leech my files :(

And if the option was available I bet every leecher would password protect their 'own' leeched files.

I want an option to prevent my files from being remoted.
And I want it NOW! :)

I am not telling you to shut down FSC <-> FSC remote - I just want the option to prevent my uploads being leeched.

After 3 days without sales...finally frozen had melted.

My PPS experience almost complete...already got 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 1 year premium sales. Still waiting for my first lifetime sales...:D

Hello Gerner2010 and Other members having similar queries ,


Just so you know , I wake up every morning early so that I can remote upload from RS in happy hours , I remote upload like GBs everyday and i have to closely monitor each remote carefully for size and completeness but with in 5 minutes of my posting my links gets copy pasted like 100 times and scattered across forums which i didn't know ever existed :)

But I don't mind that as I never produced it myself and If its helping someone with few bucks why should i mind it ? :)

I am happy with whatever I am getting and I think FSO to FSO should not be blamed for this as off late I tried it too and got few sales off those links as well.

Besides , if blocked , then people will transload FSC to FSC or remote upload from FSC to host to back to FSC , which will affect bandwidth and less speed for premium members like me who have paid $82 (Trade in Points) to get lifetime membership

Even FSo - FSo RU feature provide your suggestion, still peoples can download and Reupload again.

Until now i've always upload my files, have some files from RU but still can't decide for post it or not. Bottom line is..i've alway knew, once i post my links, there's always possibility someone will RU or download and upload it again...so i didn't really care about that, just focus to my thread...that's the best for me.

And i'll bet downloaders don't care from where the files come from, as long as they can download the files and have it.

You know , I had this important upload , it was a documentary of discovery channel which is free to air but only I had it so i pass protect it :)

It has never been reported since past 6 years (RS link) so i remote uploaded it and pass protect it and then i deleted RS link from my post and I got 31 sales off that file.

So the answer to your question is - Pass protect it and also add your password in description box.

Pass protect won't stop premium sales if your content is worth it. :)

why they will not stop FSO to FSO,

only 1 explanation
FSO 2 FSO is not remote upload its a kind of link generation
as u detected, otherwise nobody can remote upload terabytes in seconds.
And can you imagine thousands of people try to upload all these games from
otherhosts, filesonic needs millions of $$$$ for more bandwith and servers
+ PETABYTEs of disk spaces they will need and can you tell me, which is fisible ??? disabling it or not.

Downloading from those two servers with premium goes with max speed of 130-140Kb/s. Can you please take a look at it?
 
my referral earning is not showing up correctly. i am on pps(10 Fixed) and they are too. Account has been bought but not credited into my account
 
its same friend. cause everybody will disable remote
and people will get files to other host or to VPS
and then will load to filesonic and will cause filesonic lots of bandwith
and server loading. Can you guess how many member filesonic has
and how many terabytes of data are loading to filesonic per hour ???
If disabling is enabled , this load will be more and more and we will say
"file download speed for prem is 1 byte/Sec" 8-)=)
 
No it isnt.

People like you + 'leechers' would not prevent your files from being leeched just because it was possible.

Otherwise you would want an option like this, right?

Or would you use the option if you had it?
To prevent other people from leeching your leeched files?

That is called 'double standards' :)

there is a very good example that disabled fileserve 2 fileserve and you can see
their servers loading, they can not handle the loading of server. Do you want to
filesonic is like fileserve ????

and let us stop this stupid discussion or admin will warn us...

There could be 1,000 other reasons why FileServes servers might be slow.
I am not saying they are in fact slow, but it could be lack of servers, slow script, slow something else.

This is file host discussion, right?
Do not see why it should be off topic to discuss FileSonic in this thread :)
