How much is upload speed to BitShare using US server?

For me it's around 10MB/s-15MB/s, sometimes has peaks of more than 30MB/s and some times it goes below 5MB/s. The problem I have is that with big files when the upload is near completion the speed decreases a lot to less than 1MB/s and then it takes a long time to finish. For instance it may take a like 2 minutes to upload a 2GB file and then it may take more than 5 minutes just to upload the last 50 MB or so. Also some times it's uploading fine and then all of a sudden it almost stops and then restarts again after a while. Quite unreliable. I mean, it's a LOT better than all those xfs newcommers or others like netload/rapidgator/filefactory/etc, but not in the same league as ul.to or wupload.

By the way, I'm uploading through the API.
 
remote upload from bitshare to freakshare all fails but from freakshare to bitshare is OK ???
is this correct or i should try again sometime later.

karsh thanks for the insight! I am only getting 300kbps from EU server via RU or web upload.. Can anyone here recommend me an RL service which has good US server?

You should activate the security lock, to save your data from others. Go to the settings to activate it.

bitshare please explain why is there counted traffic and downloads displayed in my logs which did not occur ??

i have not downloaded anything on 2012-05-21 and for sure didn't do 1100 downloads on 2012-05-07 !

if you guys can't fix these stats at least remove that "Our system counts everything exactly" statement. btw i have downloaded only one file yesterday, not 3

and it keeps loading and loading for hours probably if i leave it...always the same issue with filemanager

@protocoldroid: about 2nd situation, let's close tab's Bitshare and open again by new tab it'll work fine (I usually do this but sometime this way do not get efficient). you can try.

Actually it's not. I have a dedicated Gbit server in a datacenter in Dallas. Look at the ping result:

no it wont. i can reset my browser and clear everything from cache cookies etc and it wont load filemanager...
 
FTP - Upload

Hello again bitshare,

what the FTP - upload concerns: I am a little confused .... What can you recommend me? I still have the traditional settings. Should I wait? If so, how long approximately? Or should I change the settings in the FTP?
