i get this problem with dl3 as well. at first i thought the error was at my end. then when other files (non-dl3) continued to download i figured there might be a problem but by then alot more people had begun reporting it so no reason to make a fuss about it.

Right I do not know if this is my computer or something that has been changed but IDM does not pickup the link automatically anymore. But the link is downloading fine by firefox's built in download manager. I will try another link after this one... baby steps first i know. UPDATE: IDM works...

just an update. i tried an old link and it got through as far as providing me with a download link... then IDM froze and said cannot find the server dl1... so that test failed BTW the link I tried was http://filemates.com/7mv2j6lasb9l/Backup_412.part1.rar
