Willy Please read this very Carefully:
Our download earnings have decreased about 40-50% in last couple of days because many forums have banned wupload and also the download speeds are poor and the 30 minutes wait time.
Under these situations, you are talking about "PROMOS". By this you are not promoting your service, but just pushing it towards a CLOSE. Please first make your business stable. Just forget about the promos for some months and then focus on making wupload stable. Just reduce the downloads earnings a bit (from $40 to $30-$35 per 1000 downloads) and also reduce the wait time and remove that "earn money with wupload" etc from the download page. If you dont do it, then i bet your business will come to a closure within few months. I promise!!

*sigh* i was afraid it would come to this. the download issues have been going on way too long. pair that with the fact that promos and promises like "make big money" or "we pay the most" don't just attract quality posters and you can be sure to get yourself a ban on well moderated foums soon. and those, lets face it, are often the big ones with a lot of traffic.
Wupload's current download earnings is the best although $40 per 1000 downloads is nearly impossible to achieve because its for above 2GB files and those files can only be downloaded by premium users and also only 1 download is counted from premium users in 24 hours.
My suggestions include
For reducing banning in high traffic moderated forums stop wupload to wupload remote upload.
Put limits on remote upload like 10 GB per day for a user this way servers will not get overloaded.
Bring some pure sales only plan like 60% of sales or 30% sales + 30% re-bills
along with PPD plans with ability to switch between plan once every week or less.
I must say, as a downloader, that Wupload sucks at restarting paused downloads. It will kill a download in a minute if paused. This is a major problem because I have lots of files over a gig.
Filesonic was like that a few weeks ago, now you can pause one for hours on end and it picks right back and goes on its merry way.
I was halfway through downloading a 1 gig file and had to restart my browser. Killed my download in that short time.
If I can't pause my downloads even for a minute, what good is that?

hmm don't know what's going on but stats barely move for me :/
yeah. that is a big problem. That's one of the biggest complaints from premium users.
I can't really understand why I can't use my prefered download manager with wupload.
If my download is interrupted for any reason, I just lost bandwidth because I can't resume it and for those with low speed it's even more frustrating.
downlaod speeds are awfull today[not unlike any other day though]:facepalm:, filesonic, on the other hand is doing great..=)
also seems wupload is getting kicked out of a few forums that i post at..promo's & big money offers tend to get the spammers juices flowing[remember oron???]X-( despised by many a forum for encouraging mass/duplicat posts..on one forum i remember a "spammer" racking up an incredible 2500 posts in 2 days:O..seems wupload is going the same route, hope not:'(...i only use a host if plenty of quality posters are using it, that way i can get what i want/need, and post a few in return. i only post on 5 forums & my blog, a total of about 5-10 gig a day, i have no desire to sit at my putor 24/78-)..on the whole, wupload has the potential to be a great host, but the reliability issues along with the spammers are killing it

Yeah , stats are lowest than ever and the reason for that is the incredibly lowest download speeds . We are sharing really good content , content that users really want to download - they are buying premiums , but the paradox in this moment is that even with premium account the speeds are terrible .It`s impossible to have good stats when users are unable to download your files .I`m wondering how many refunds Wupload have to make these days ? Willy , Please do something , in this situation everybody looses .
