Yeah, thats a habbit I need to get into.
 
Inferno vBshout is a good mod but is very badly coded,
this exploit has been there for a long time.

But many people know about, this is the main reason why I switched to CYB.

You can ask lokiloki if you wan't to know more.
 
Dude simply do Not use vBSHOUT 2.0 or 2.1 because an SQL injection vulnerability has been found. Well i recommend you use Inferno vBShout 2.5.0. And that guy who calls himself a hacker will disappear forever.

hackers are just sad, sad people...

So if it was a vun shoutbox is there anyway to fix it and stop these attacks?
 
Sounds like he RFI'd you and noticed your password in the config files were the same as your admin account, poor old you.
 
i bought my vB licence. will i have any problems with this type of thing happening to me?

should i find an experienced coder to ensure my site is safe?

Sure it does. It's got lots hacking perks. :)

You see katzforum easily getting to (twice in one week), you don't see wbb getting hacked ;d they run on phpbb3

If you think about it, all the big sites have phpbb. wbb, forumw, projectw, pornbb, etc...

If someone is really pissed off they can google vB hacks, they can google phpbb hacks all they want, but its all open source anyway! So its always out in the open.

In the end perks don't matter. It's either having a site, or not having a site lol.
