That is pretty low even for free users if your limiting them to 400mb :/

No.. its still crappy... But its pointless having 400mb as a limit to free users and at the same time 14kb/s max for them

Limit download to 1gb per file and give at least 40kb/s

Or stay as 400mb/s but give them like 250-300kb/s

That will, in the end, bring more account sales.

40 kb / s?? Is this a joke?? 100kb / s is the minimum, how your confidence with this host? It has changed to 1000MB limit for anonymous, and after change to 400mb.

Dear WJ users!

We have decided to stop our PPD (Pay Per Download) program on Monday, 23th of April 2012 00:00 UTC. And here is why:

- Huge amount of free downloads.

We have tried to limit free downloads. But got no luck. The average free/premium ratio is 95/5. Free downloads consumed up to 40MB/s (megabytes per second) of bandwidth on each server.

- No premium sales from PPD.

Yes, comparing to people working on PPS that was almost nothing.

- Huge amount of uploads consuming too much of space. We saw some people uploading archives of games and movies released since 2005. For example three users consumed 10TB of space, while there were no sales at all. That's not worth it.

Сonsidering all the above it's not worth it. Definitely not worth it.


We would like to inform you:
- All PPD affiliates will be paid on Wednesday if their earning amount is at least $20.
- Other affiliates will not be paid. However they have the opportunity to migrate to PPS program.
- Feel free to migrate to PPS (Pay Per Sale) or EPPS (Elite Pay Per Sale) programs. Migrate and earn the wanting amount to be paid.
