Edit: Looks like you use the same Desktop Manager as Xerver does. Gives me exact same error notice on Win7 event viewer (look the error in Xerver thread, please).

You need to pick one or the other, I can't do both

We will check the desktop manager and investigate the issue. It doesn't seem to effect all computers so it could be some third party software that causes the problem.
Do you have a direct connection to the web or are you using proxies, VPN or similar ?

I located the FTP issue and its being resolved.
The web upload sometimes hangs on initializing upload. It does in fact upload it just doesn't show the status correctly. It's only affecting certain browsers, we are researching the cause of it. It's safe to start the upload and let it run. Are you by any chance using Mac or Linux ?
On the flash upload I get about 15 mbit upload speed using wifi.

Cool, good to know about the usual web upload. Using Windows7 64bit.

Flash upload is fine - my own upload speed is the bottleneck

I see the file and the 404. I created a copy of the file and the copy works but not the original. Can you verify its the correct file that appeared as a copy in your account ?
I'll send report the issue back to our dev to get it resolved. Please do not delete the file.
