Wtf is this? Who the heck are you?
This is phpUploader. An open source and/or free, php based auto uploader. I'm lifetalk - a pretty much unknown figure around here.

What does it do?
FFS! I can't be arsed to keep updating this paragraph, lol. This shit does a lot of stuff. Have a look at the changelog.

Features:
- Downloads from RS/HF/FS/MU (Vanilla and LeechMod)
- Extracts files (Vanilla)
- Can extract password protected RAR's (Vanilla)
- Renames the extracted files (Vanilla)
- Changes the MD5 hash of the files (Vanilla)
- If extracted/downloaded files are videos, MTN will create a screencap and upload it to LulzImg (Vanilla/LeechMod)
- Re-Rar's the extracted file with a custom RAR name (Vanilla)
- Can password protect the new RAR files (Vanilla)
- Will generate a post layout using IMDB info (Vanilla and LeechMod)
- Uploads files back to RS/HF/FS/MU (Vanilla and LeechMod)

Extended features:
- You can add multiuser authentication to the script's access. (Vanilla and LeechMod)
- Notifies you via email and/or flashing screen/sound on completion (Vanilla)
- Uses binary rar/unrar so your server does not need RAR/UNRAR installed (Vanilla)
- Plugin based system (Don't bother with this - Vanilla and LeechMod)
- Can delete unnecessary files from the downloaded RAR (Vanilla)
- Can add your custom files to the new RAR (Vanilla)
- I don't remember the rest.. seriously!

So be it. Look at the positive side. There will be a lot more 'alive' links. Yeah there might be spam, but there's also going to be more choice, variety, etc etc shit.

No. Too lazy to screenshot the new v2.0 release. I haz the Vanilla screens now. Someone screenshot the LeechMod release and PM me pl0xxxxxxxxx. Thankeeeeeeeeeee.

Bugs/reports?
Reply here. PMs WILL be ignored.

Prerequisites:
- PHP Safe Mode disabled.
- PHP cURL extension installed.
- Upload to Rapidshare uses the FileMigrator API function. You need to unlock your RS account (security lock).

How do I install RAR/UNRAR on my VPS/server?
If you have ssh access, then either of the two commands will work for you:

tar -zxvf rarlinux-3.8.0.tar.gz

That option is still working in v1.2, so use that one till the official version (from lifetalk) is released.

I think its better to run it twice as you can run two instances of the script for two different posts ;)

People want to remove files from inside rar files and add their own so rar/unrar is a important feature.

Exactly! Until a clean version comes out, please hold ur horses! Also, under GPL license, you can fork and remake a new version of the script under your name as long as you credit the orignator and the modifications you have inside your script.

Plugins!!! LOL!

If you want, i can do it after u post version umm.... u know!

For the plugins system, lets go like this, one plugin for one part! So, this should be our flowchart:

1. Download file plugins (various hosts)
2. After download options:
----- Rename RAR, change md5
----- Extract file plugins
----------- Extracted files rename/delete/add/modify
3. Upload file options (various hosts)
4. Movie date generate and retreval options
5. Post format generation options

This would allow us to nest plugins and call them at appropriate times for desired options. We could even allow users to post their own plugins!

lol smith I suggested it before, have it all automatic. Grab links through rss feeds(s), upload, make a thread on your site. Using your idea build in a multi poster to post a bunch of sites. And well were add it after it runs through 40 (with a counter, and a time limit set) have it submit the threads to katz. Just have the script run itself, no?

Another day maybe! For now, be happy with phpUploader.

Wish i was a uploader... then i would know what other uploaders wants! well i do have a friend who is a uploader so most of the ideas are from him :)
 
Added a Major Feature.
Now it renames the extracted files as per your filename.

before it was just extracting the files.. adding prefix and uploading.. thus not making it a dedicated uploads.

now it extracts and renames as you tell it to do :)

Funny thing is I'm not an uploader either. Technically, 2 programmers who're not uploaders took part in making/modifying a script that's designed PRIMARILY for uploaders :P

Anyway, couple more hours before I do the release. The plugin system is no big change. It's basically cleaning index.php and shifting code to separate files to make everything more organized.

Yes, it'll also decrease file size and also give the ability disable plugins that makes the script crash! And i am all for organized and proper indentations ;)

Also, wait till the plugin system is implemented. That would allow users to add/remove/update your plugin much easily :)

Yes, i plan to do that as soon as the script is released. I am good at login authentications :D You will have a option to login and there'll be an option to "remember me" and it'll keep u logged in until 30 days of inactivity ;)
