HELP: Best html/css/php editor? (code editor)

I love Geany but its upto your habits.. Vim and emacs are powerful but they've a steep learning curve (especially vim)

Windows XP Notepad for the l33t coders.

Its nothing l33t in it tbh.. and its awesome if you want to waste your time..

Notepad++ if you dont need an IDE.

If you need IDE, use Netbeans (I prefer it because its good, and free).

Notepad++ is the ultimate editor for many programming languages due to its awesome syntax highlighting , plus it has lot of plugins which comes very handy while editing.

sublime2 or sublime3
you can literaly do everything with it. Even inline-compiling.
you can install more plugins, like latex, ruby, java etc. (inkl. compile-calls)
syntax-highlighting out of the box. XML-tag parsing, autocompletion, multi-cursor etc.


i think it's much better than notepad++, but that's probably a question of taste
