Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a proprietary protocol developed by Microsoft, which provides a user with a graphical interface to connect to another computer over a network connection.
This little server help you alot on uploading and downloading files if you laptop are slow.
You can download and upload unlimited files at high speed up to 1gb/s and with same speed can upload on GO with FTP via FileZilla or other ZOOM Uploader without using the resources of your laptop.
BIG NOTE: Never use your web logins on those RDP because can be stolen. Only FTP or ZOOM

Usually no, because the admins (Admins of RDP Host) can check anytime your browsers logs and can stolen your email and password and changed it.
I had a problem like this, and since then I only use Z.O.O.M Uploader or FTP via FileZilla software without logging in to sites.
You can also use WEBUPLOAD, but activate in your account of GOUNLIMITED account Security lock: ON so no one can change your data.
And after you finish your work, every time go to BROWSER SETTINGS and CLEAR ALL DATA CACHE (FOR ALL TIME)

Download, Install, Login with your Gounlimited FTP info, and just drag and drop files for upload.
And about the files we can backup the accounts files after we added backup options, you need to have it activated.

and fill-up the fields on filezilla
host: ftp.gounlimited.to
username: your username
password: your ftp password
port: 21
then hit "Quickconnect" button.
wait until you get this:
Status: Logged in
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Status: Directory listing of "/" successful
after successfully logging in, you can start dragging ya files:
anyway.. just use zoom uploader, it's much easier.

If it was me I'd just get a dedicated server instead of shared rdp. Install xubuntu and run Windows apps with wine and all set
can install RDP on it, but it is a bit of learning to set it up, but it's just typing in a few commands via ssh. 1tb space, unlimited 1gbps port, 4gb ram for about 10 euro. Perfect and it's yours, no sharing systems.

Dedicated server with a 1 TB storage and unshared 1 Gbps connection for an uploader? I have more than 50 websites with hundreds of uploaders and I put them all in one server to share them an RDP. It's super easy. Just choose the host and login.
Please make sure you enable Security Lock in your account before using ZOOM.
