@ Glumbo: I have seen that Free User can download max. filesize of 2GB. Can you pls increase to 5GB? I wanted to offer HD Stream via your Hoster but my User cant stream files with 3 or 4 GB. Please Glumbo. Or can you increase for Freeuser which are downloading from User with Premium? If there is no option for me i cant use your service :(

Can i convert 4,5GB mkv to ~ 2 GB mp4 ?

Do you serioursly think someone will buy premium if they can 5GB files for free?

Hope Glumbo dont follow all the user suggestions.

I mean only the files from premium account. I have a premium account, the user can load my files with a size of 5 GB (Would make sense because of traffic per day is only 5GB). If i havent a premium account the user cant download the file wirth a size of 5GB.
--> I think wtih this service the user who wanted to upload files will buy Premium.

Nope i have cleared cookies logged out logged in still the same even with another browser it happens all day long . I just uploaded a movie and it was stuck on generating links for quite some time and now i cant see my files . :(

I seem to have solved it by editing the cookie . :P

You can convert 4.5GB mkv to 2GB. That's definitely possible.

Raising to 5GB isn't going to be possible. Your members will need to get a premium account if they want to download your videos

We think its unreasonable as well
 
Probably not as high as 800kb

Question to our users: Would you use MU free url leech if it was available?

Glumbo you should better ask, have Glumbo enough power to assume MU free leech for everybody? A lot of uploaders use MU as backup so it could be a great idea, you should enable it for active uploaders only.
 
I didnt use it and my friends too. I think the most use simlpy the FTP Upload or Remoteupload via FTP Server. I think it would be better you increase the Traffic to 10GB for example.

I just want to pick out only the maximum for free users because it is more interesting for uploader. Leech on MU I could do without completely.
 
@Entertainment; Totally agree with you, 5GB isnt too much a standart 1080p MKV uses at least 8-9GB (Considering video quality and multi-audio) In addition this traffic it´s very cheap for Glumbo because they have 0.05$ earning limit.

All here know and appreciate the business way that Glumbo takes, it´s harder to have a stable filehost when premium conversion ratio is lower but your potential advantage is users dont have to put captchas so downloaders will love Glumbo (MU done it in past, why not Glumbo?) You just have to motivate uploaders and get unique content at Glumbo.

Talking about unique features, will be great to allow to guests stream files up to 5GB (Only for premium uploaders) for let us create HD Streaming sites with Glumbo as main partner, i´m talking about streaming only, if they want to download pay premium.

Currently streaming sistem of Glumbo it´s great anyway :)
 
Active affiliates get a premium account and premium accounts have unlimited storage

MU free url leech has been added

Hi, what's the daily download limit for free and registered users ? And can you explain me more clearly what means "Any IP/User can only earn you a max of $0.05/day. This is 10 downloads of our highest tier" Thanks :)

Daily bandwidth is 5GB for free and registered users. That statement means that any IP/User can only earn you 5 cents a day. Our max tier is $50 for 10k streams/downloads so each stream/download is $0.005 and 10 of these downloads can be counted. Lower tiers allow for more downloads to be counted

Ok but if you only count 10 files per day per ip this means that it's not $50=10,000 downloads, because if for example a user with the same ip downloads from me 100 files in the same day you will count only 10 downloads and so I lost 90 downloads....so I need many more of 10,000 downloads to have $50....;)

I guess you're right but a lot of hosts either only count 1 premium per day or 1 unique in 24 hours.

Update: We are transitioning away from uploads.glumbo.com and moving to glumbouploads.com. All old links will still work. There may be some problems due to DNS changes but we will try our best to minimize any disruption. All of servers will also be going through RAM upgrades so we will be putting all of our servers on maintenance for 30 minutes (soon). Uploads and downloads will not work during this 30 minute window
