Why is remote upload so slow at this time of day . I'm getting almost 1mb during the day but 56kb at this time . I just cant get files up quick enough.

Just a question everything else is great

@Glumbo:

Hey, i have a question. Can you increase the downloadspeed for free user to 600-800 kb/s or set the speed for registered user? i mean, there is no difference if the user download the volumen of 5GB at the time of 3h or 2h. The rease is that we offer Trailer and other Videos @ 1080p/720p and our user cant stream this videos without buffering @ 400 kb/s.

ye . im not using the leech tool tho . Its my own premium

It's probably due to a lot of people leeching at once.

I'll see if we can do this. I'll update you when I have an answer for you.

Notice: We changed the downloads counted back to max of $0.05/IP per day instead of 10 downloads per IP per day.

I noticed its just on certain links . Most are very fast . anyway i hope glumbo lasts becaus im about to create a site that only uses glumbo links .

@WebMonster That's great to hear. We have members who paid for lifetime premium that we can't let down.

Your Filesonic speed problem is probably due to your files being on different Filesonic servers with varying loads, server location and other factors.

Ok thanks :) I have calculated. I have a video with a size of 4,8 GB. i think thats the limit. This video is a documentation and have a runtime of 92min.

@400 kb/s: 24 MB/min * 92min = 2208 MB
--> Buffering every 2 seconds.

@600 kb/s: 36 MB/min * 92min = 3312MB
--> If the user waits 10min he will stream the video without buffering.

@800 kb/s: 48 MB/min * 92min = 4416 MB
--> If the user waits 1-2min he will stream the video without buffering.

@850 kb/s: 51 MB/min * 92min = 4692 MB
--> Without Buffering in all cases

4,8 GB @ 92min Runtime is very extreme and i think thats the maximum proportionate but i think you will be one of the first Streamhoster supporting 720p without problems.

Alternative: Speeed @ 800 kb/s for freeuser only from Users with Premium Account.
--> More User will buy Premium.

Result: You will see that the traffic is the same after a month cause of the 5GB limit.

Actually, I'm not sure if we even want to make a 5GB file available for streaming to free users. We might want to apply the download file size limit to streaming as well.

GlumboIMG Desktop Uploader has a bug. Uploading returns error : 413

What OS are you on?

I think it will be the biggest error you can do. Our project is now based on your hoster and the support for HD streams up to 5 GB. We have been looking for solutions for streaming HD for free user. And now we have found. If you let the speed to 400 kb / s that is your decision, but if you have a limit of 5GB traffic and then have a file limit for free users too so the user remains nothing more ^^

I think that your service will be announced soon and that many users you recommend to start but do not make the error and deteriorates your offer.
