actually i was using IDM to download the files.... i was watching the DL and it was rising and falling... i just wish that it will be constant so that people would find this host a better alternative than other hosts....
 
I just tested a sample download the free user speeds sucks big time only 10-15KB/s ! :o i dnt know if somthing is wrong but this is not good.... I know that this is a business but u'll not be popular if u dnt think about free users...

that's why (idm) u had low premium DL speeds, seems not supported so far.

some report mipony works still not the ideal.

with jd u will not having any serious DL probs with prem.

and a bug (hung flag is incorrect)

To everyone who sees less downloads than before - our technical team will make investigation today, most likely this drop is related to the increased load on severs in Europe. Anyway, I ask everyone who has complaints about low download number to submit a ticket to our support team - the team will review your stats and will add compensation if required.

My downloads drop down near some days, when we say that to Filepost, they will say they do nothing, but I know, they did.

You do not have a right to accuse us in cheating, that is not our plan. We have always been honest with our partners and users and accepted our mistakes and followed all your suggestions. I ask everyone who sees unusual number of downloads to record that to our support team via tickets. Thank you.

And I know why our stats DL is low, because free members can't download via IDM, Flashget..., this is really bad! only 30% members at my site using Jdownloader.
When they try download via IDM, Flashget...they will get error, and when they try download again, they must wait more 1 hour to continue download. And they will never complete download, they will think Filepost is bad or something, and they don't want buy premium account.
And my members buy premium account don't satisfied when Filepost don't have direct download when they use IDM, Flashget...!

As for the banners - even though both premium and affiliate banners have the same links - they both contain your id - they work well for calculating both downloads AND referrals. So please do not worry - both banners count referrals (if someone registers via a banner) and sales (if someone makes a sale).

As for download managers - JDownloader and mydownloader.net are totally compatible with FilePost.com. As for IDM - we will check that to make sure it works right, however it should be actually.

That is strange you have such low download speed. Please pm me details - where you download from, what software you use, etc.

To change a plan please submit a request via Switch to PPS plan form on the site.
 
I can confirm FilePost ddl stats works well, the main problem is the overload of EU server and speed & bandwidth restrictions for freebies, this make much more attractive others filehosts where you can download faster ≈400KB/s (FileServe & FileSonic)

So i think FilePost should consider iprove EU network and at least guarantee 300KB/s for freebies (Now it´s impossible to reach 175KB/s from EU or USA)
 
sunday's stats looks a bit weird (already sent tickets)

saturday ok.

tested 2 files for FREE yesterday just to see speeds (to see what we get)

we got from 140kb/s to 165kb/s as free visitor ;)

so the max DL speed is set to 180 as far as we (both) know ;)

JD speed is ok as always :) max speed for prem.

due to the new changes in mark.settings we already wrote & req. to increase the default DL capacity for FREE visitors/users from 100mb/hr to something more normal. We cannot define what normal is but the 100 should be increased a bit.

- now ppl can make their own customized settings (by their own choice) but the default should be a bit more

Yes, at the moment we notice load disbalance between EU and US servers, thus our technicians work on the network improvements. Also, this week we hope to add more EU servers what would allow to stand high load well.

Tech support is not late, we have different tasks to work on, a file hosting is a complicated system where we need to manage server network as well as make improvements as well as make investigations of the problems. Sometimes everything can not be done fast, sorry.
