I saw one of my files in red, but when I tried to play it, it worked fine, although others didn't.

If it's necessary to re-upload files, it would be nice to get a list of which files are affected.
Doing it one by one through the manager is too tedious when you have thousands of files.

It probably means someone uploaded that file and red status wasn't gone yet due to cache.

Can u add in video manager search by embed id?
like https://filemoon.to/e/ID*

Sure will be done soon.

do i need to change the embed code domain .to to .sx to make it more playable or just leave it to .to?

I'm not sure what do you mean, both domains can be used.

even if we have the back up file, we need so much time because of the Queueing line

That's something out of our control, over 5 years of our existence we had only 3 situations where files was not recoverable and this is one of them. This situation lead to over 300TB data loss meanwhile we recovered 200TB+-. Now people re-uploading files and when couple houndred thousands files are being thrown at our encoder it can simply happen.

after the initial shock and realization that most of my files i cannot re-upload as they were one offs and i have deleted them now, i have gotten around to re-uploading the ones i do still have backups for. the process has worked for me and the current links still work after re-uploading the files. Just have to make sure they are the exact same hash as the original.

im hoping some of the ones i dont have backups for that others will reupload their copies and they will be fixed

as much as it sucks, i still have faith in @FileMoon and their service.

So this is another update. We've managed to restore another 110TB of data from the server. We are updating the files that are recovered so they will no longer be red in manager, hopefully it helps. We've also started transfers of recovered files.

At the very least, you need to purchase hard drives to store at least one copy of your uploads.

@FileMoon

when sharing a folder, all the files are out of sequence to whats in the file manager

is there anyway to fix this as its annoying to try and find the correct episode when not in sequence

Code:

Good Afternoon,

when re-uploading the file successfully, the red color for the error video will disappear?

Yes.

You want them with some specific order ? Because currently they are sorted by date of upload.

Regarding the issue, we've added more encoding slots (doubled the current) to speed up encoding process.

My congratulations on the technical team's expertise. When faced with a problem that causes data loss, they are able to quickly repair it, identify the corrupted files, and allow re-uploading. Although a list of corrupted files is missing so I don't have to re-upload everything.

Yesterday I ran a mini test, with the file marked in red.
I re-uploaded that same file, and the old one was restored.
Then I deleted the new upload, and the old one was still fine and working.

Good Afternoon,

Yes.

Order by name would be better, but that's just me, maybe others would want it another way

Quick question to Filemoon team,

We all can take excel file with full list of files by clicking on Export All Files To CSV.

But, once when is done, most of the files have just random code names like this:

file name
1745686845pu6dg.mp4
17473052035a0xx.mp4
17466118356hx1u.mp4
17471897463jixq.mp4
17466118174vr69.mp4
1668585543y9dy1.mp4
16673750740uaws.mp4
1666443585aoawy.mp4
1665559732h6udt.mp4
16637461820a426.mp4

It would be much more easier if all files have name (in my case all videos have name, not these codes) and if this excel file can have red marked all deleted files/or which one will be deleted.

1745686845pu6dg.mp4 (instead of code, to name example): GOT.S01E01.720p.Bluray
17473052035a0xx.mp4
Avatar.2009.1080p.Bluray.H264-YTS.MX
17471897463jixq.mp4
17466118174vr69.mp4
1668585543y9dy1.mp4
GOT.S01E03.720p.Bluray
GOT.S01E06.720p.Bluray
1665559732h6udt.mp4
16637461820a426.mp4

I think this is no big deal to make it possible and it will help a lot for everyone to reupload deleted files once again.

Any chance to do something like that?

Thank you in advance.

We added display of broken files from the current issue into broken files manager so you have full list there.

Order by name would be better, but that's just me, maybe others would want it another way

We can do some variations there but not really this week as our focus now is on restoring the files and minimize the damage as much as possible.

It's almost impossible to use FileMoon, the videos just stay in the conversion queue.

I'm sorry and i understand your frustration however please understand that filemoon is not a toilet host with 100 users and after such extremally difficult situation we experienced people are focused on reuploading the files, there is thousands of users who does that and our encoding is clogged.

Copy the file names from the broken files list.
Paste into excel or google spreadsheets.
Delete the size column, copy the rest.
Go to onlinetexttools.com
Add " as a prefix on every row
Add " OR as a suffix on every row
Delete line breaks
Paste the result in windows explorer search bar (in chunks if there's a lot), drag all the files into your ftp client and you're done.

If someone knows an easier method for reuploading, please share it

Due to a heavy mass upload, the encoding became too much slow. If possible, then could you please swap a few servers for encoding for the next couple of days until the additional load is balanced?
