filecubic thx for the support. i am sure FileMates will be back as before and bigger soon. i do the best possible for it. it is normal when uploaders see instability to be afraid and leave. the important is not to give up. i will keep running it and i will try to find a better processing partner as well. i know euro payment processing is important as strange currencies make people worry about their transactions. sales must go up again and they will... one way or another they will (i am stubborn as someone sais here :P )
 
I noticed some times it has excessive loading. It must be a bug after some changes made due to the upcoming integration with some new features.

No... Do not worry. It is just in development phase. It will take time to go out. Just an API to contact programmatically with your files. be able to fetch info and more... This way, programmers could easily build entire sites based on hosting files on filemates.

But do not worry. No tinkering ;)
 
You are right mate... IDM doesn't work because of the cloudflare protection actual level.

If you click the download link in the download page after the cloudflare checks your browser and you pass the integrity evaluation, IDM will download the file normally but massive downloading will fail as long as the site's protection by cloudflare is the highest.

Nothing strange...

However, the "Upload", "My File", "Reports", etc. buttons are not colored - like the other pages.

They have not yet been dropped down so as not to conflict with one's Browser Tabs. Remember.

This also applies to the various Upload Pages.

I guess, the bottom line is for you to check all the pages and make sure that the new redesign has been applied to them consistantly.

FireFox Browser, Windows7 Ultimate


OK..........I see what the issue was.

First, I went to my other browser - Maxthon 3 - and all the Filemates pages appeared as they should.

Second, I went back to my default browser - Firefox - and I noticed that I'd activated AdBlock Plus on all Filemates pages.

Finally, I de-activated AdBlock Plus on Filemates - and Viola!........the pages appear as they should.

In short..........I was the problem.

:O)
 
Many users complain that their antivirus system reacts on the site like a virus!
I know that there are no viruses but how do you explain them to anyone?
I have ESES NOD32 i not have a problem but with AVAST
In one board filemates are add in Banned File Hosts only for this!!!!!!
Fix this mate!

filemates has no popups or frustrating ads. Only gooogle ads as overlay for free users.

I know about Avast. Avast makes such alerts. They have been contacted to check it out and resolve it...

Hi,

First off - are you running Eset and Avast at the same time?

If so, don't.

Use one or the other - not both.

My choice would be to use Eset.

Sometimes an anti-malware program will report a "False Positive" on a safe and legitimate site.

Sometimes, users falsely report a positive virus/malware alert just to create havoc.

Either way, gently explain to said users that Filemates is a safe and malware-free site.
