The new file manager on Crocko annoys me at times because you can't select the files when the window is smaller

I have to always maximize the window to select my links

in the root folder, i am seeing a lot of files that I am not sure whether I had deleted them before or are supposed to be in some folders....in my easy-share account I dont have any files and only folders on the root folder at this time.... what are these files?
