conversion works but looks for very slowly, and they don`t convert mp4 files just others.
you should do something with streaming as the videos need to be loaded fully to stream instead of being streamed instant. work on it.

yeah seems like it was just a temp issue, files uploaded later did manage to convert. those i was talking about before, however, did not.

lb3erty1, are those files that stream this way mp4 files that you converted by yourself? the files converted by server stream just fine for me.
this can happen if you convert without allowing flattening & fast start in your conversion sw.

@ErnestGaskin

yeah I use my own converted files to mp4 as i add a lots of subtitles... maybe I should convert them to avi and let donevideo convert them again ?

I guess that would be about personal prefference. Mine is flattened MP4 with fastsart.

Besides considerably lower space usage, it comes handy when dealing with other, non-converting hosts & takes the load out of servers like donevideo.

Just as a side note, there are some converting hostings that allow downloading finished files. Might be a smart move to outousrce most of your converting and take care of mirroring at the same time.

Ok, I have fiexed the problem with instant streaming. Player has problems with vmp4 files but when you use .flv with h264 all works smooth ;-)

also is there any chance for file uploader support ?

and btw. you as donevideo could check you video conversion settings as files are converted to quite big files some times even biger than oryginal one.
