Like Spox said, determined free users will change their IP to download without delay. I actually saw this happening A LOT. A free user will download part1, then change IP, download part2, change IP, download part3....
Unique downloads/sale ratio is very bad for Datafile compared to other filehosts, it's all because free downloads are too easy.

1) Remove the customized delay settings(doesn't even work anyway). Just make it 60 minutes to 90 minutes by default and nobody should be able to change it, not even forum admin/webmasters.
2) You need a better automated system to detect and ban debrid.
3) Show us proof rebills work with deleted files. I am pretty sure it doesn't. All the rebills I had were from live files only.

Unless those 3 things are fixed, I am not coming back to Datafile.
You don't need to be attracting free downloaders, you need to be attracting uploaders so that there is more content being posted with Datafile link, then people will be more likely to buy Datafile premium.
Right now, I don't see that many Datafile links being posted on forums COMPARED to other filehosts.

I agree 100%.

You must attract more downloaders so that more and more Datafile links are spread in forums.

Then more sales will come.

No uploaders = No sales

Come on DF, please fix those simple things and you will see everything will be better for everyone.

We all say that sales have gone worse since you left free users download everything easily.

Uploaders will not wait forever and leave Datafile and will not work for nothing.

Follow other filehosts policy in free users waiting time.

We have been talking about this thing weeks now.

All these continuous changes are not good for anyone.

Make things stable and let us work without having to deal with different problems every few days.

As far we know most file hosts have this rule for free users. We have this rule for 2-3 month already.

Datafile, i downloaded right now a file of 6 MB size as free user (not registered) and when i tried to download a second file as free user i had only to wait only 1 minute (countdown) after i inserted the captcha.

I downloaded from same IP.

Where is the 1 hour i should wait as free unregistered user? :facepalm:

Can you fix it or not? Please let us know.

I have no reason to post a fake info here. I had to wait only 1 minute after i downloaded the first file as free user.

You can check yourself and see.

But please let us know if you really intend to do this or not.

There is no 1 hour waiting between free downloads now.

Yes that's the case and that directly affects sales.

It appears that Datafile filehost is ready to sacrifice the earnings of the posters for the sake of being allowed on tops.

Not with me, I am not that rich to promote Datafile on my own account.

I m not DF uploader but
I think DF admin is not aware of that 00:01:00 is only 1 minute not 1 hour... I`ve just downloaded 2 files by waiting only 1 minute...
I couldnt believe in this. like a joke...
 
you've exhausted your bandwidth... for Datafile it is not just number of days limited but also amount of data you can download... I also found that out the hard way... had to buy 3TB data to download again...
 
Seems that the delay time for free users is working fine now.

With Jdownloader2 I could download 3 files as free user (without free account).

Does anyone get same results?

Everyone can download the first 3 files as free user without waiting and then u get the message i had posted here 11 days ago.

It is the 3 files maximum a user can download in one day we were talking about yesterday that forums may ban datafile for this limitation if downloaders report it.

Anyway, if Datafile will not add 1 hour waiting for free users like all other filehosts are doing, i will not be able to continue working for them since right now i m getting many free downloads and almost no sales/regs.

And 1 month ago with much less downloads and much less posts in forums, i was getting very good sales and regs.

If datafile can not accept what we all ask days now, i m not going to deal more.

Patience is ending. I only stay because i wanted to avoid another filehost change, but i cant work for giving my files to free users for free.

Enough with his excuses all these days.

He can make this change in few seconds if he wants. It seems he doesn't want.

I don't like this limit of 3 files per day.
As I said before would be much better with a delay time of 1-2 hours after each download.

3 files per day will generate many complaints on big forums soon. It for sure will be a problem for Datafile.

I have already left datafile since i see datafile admin doesn't care to make changes and listen to his affiliates.

If they ever settle their issues and apply more limitations for free users, I may work with Datafile again.

Unfortunately i can not spend more time for getting many many free downloads daily and very low regs/sales.
