Zaertix I am not sure if u know this or not but ip/~uername format is just a dnsless preview but if the concerned site has scripts such as Bulletin boards(IPB,VB etc) or WP which are setup to work for a domain they automatically redirect you to the domain for which they have been setup. So sorry cant work on the content too mate.

I'm well aware of what I'm talking about. I've used the IP/username maaany many times while waiting on DNS to set up so when the DNS flushes, my sites are up and working.

Currently I'm sitting on my site via IP and it has YET to 'redirect' me to my actual domain name.

Running phpbb, just logged into the ACP. So yeah, please tell me when it's going to redirect me or give me a 'preview' of everything?

Edit:
Just tested my blog AND my IPB site, neither has redirected me.

Trust me, I've used the feature enough to know how it works.

Well.. i think is time to looking for another hosting.. there are many problems here, its not good to my visits, my site and for me.. there r to many changes of servers.. 4 or 5 times to week need to send a ticket, 2 or 3 times you send me a new account information, changes to DNS, that mean 24-48hours!!! i need to work on site content, and not waste time cause of problems with the hosting. sorry but this isn't work

Switch over too google dns and you'll be able to access your site in 10-15 minutes after the dns change.

Mister XX - As long as the porn is of legal age (18+) then it is allowed.

CloudShadow - Mark is correct, Worldstream is the datacenter we are using.

Daring, are you guys sure you will be safe with worldstream? I'm pretty sure that they are very strict regarding warez content and if you get a DMCA request they'll most probably null route your IP.

When we got the Ukraine server within 48 hours, we had 1 DMCA. Within a week we had about 5. They actually null routed our IP address at one point. They made us comply with each and everyone of them.

We then moved all the sites from the Ukraine server back to the Netherlands server. We have not had one DMCA/complaint/takedown notice. The sites have been on the Netherlands server for over a week now. They are the same exact sites but since the location change we have not had any problems.

Of course if a complaint does come in we will have to remove content, but that is the same with just about any location. I've already talked to them about the matter and they said they give a few hours before actually null routing the IP address.

Worldstream is a great datacenter, and it is the best I've dealth with thus far. We have not had any downtime or issues since moving to them over a month ago. We have in fact just ordered a second server from them today.

I know they are a great data center but most datacenters give you at least 24 hours to comply with DMCA requests, while worldstream wont. Even if you comply with their request, their is a good chance that they will null your ip.

I'm just saying that you should be careful.

I've already talked to them and they said as long as I remove the content then they will not null route the IP address. They use the same procedure as every datacenter.

Ukraine and Russia is a better and more secure location than netherlands, you bought at goodnet.com.ua the server, and unfortunately that was your fault. goodnet.com.ua not allow warez linking, nulled Scriptz ...
goodnet.com.ua is good only for legitimate projects

Those locations are better for warez you mean, not better for web hosting. Ukraine and Russia are by far not the best for web hosting, and probably will never be anything close to the United States, Netherlands, Germany, and other European countries.

Just take a look at these videos here and you can see exactly what I mean.

Here are two videos of the "Wahome Datacenter" in Russia: Video 1 and Video 2

Here is one video of the "P-Host Datacenter" In The Ukraine: Video 1

Here is one video of the "Serverius Datacenter" in the Netherlands: Video 1

Here is one video from the "Liquid Web Datacenter" in the United States: Video 1

Those videos speak for themselves when it comes to quality of each location.

The simple fact is that you will not make a legitimate business selling "DMCA ignored" or web hosting because simply, it isn't real. If someone wants content off the internet it will be taken off one way or another.

If you have anything else to say, please contact me in private as this is a sales thread.

It looks like there is an issue with the hard drive which is resulting in content lost.
I just contacted the datacenter to see if they can recover any data and get us up and running.
