According to other people's complaints in old posts, I don't think it will be returned to your balance.
If $6.xx of $150 is card fraud or refunded, you will lose total $150.
In my opinion, always requesting payout when your balance have $20 is a wise policy.

^ No, DL counts are always lesser than other ones who only count 1 IP per day.
I don't the reason, but I just tell you the fact.
However, many people like to buy BitShare's premium memberships, so you can try PPS plan.
If you can have 300+ DL counts everyday and generate good sales, PPS with rank is also a good choice.
Here is one day's report of Google Analytics regarding one of my sites:

BitShare: 240
RapidGator: 360
DepositFiles: 202
