No, nothing has changed. Since the speed increased from 15 KB/s to 100 KB/s, it will take a day or two for the rates to display as before. I think they’ll be back to normal by the start of Saturday.
It’s been this way for PPD users for years, and nothing has changed.
If you don’t want your users to see ads, choose PPS.
