I'm very satisfied—everything has been going great over the past few months. Payments are always on time and in full, and the file management and deletion features are far superior to any other file hosting service of this kind. The support team has also been very responsive and helpful in my case. I'm pleasantly satisfied.

Continue so @KatFile

I have mentioned this repeatedly before, but I believe it is something that should not be underestimated.

There are people who have been taking advantage of government agencies in Taiwan to send large numbers of abuse reports. They also appear to be increasingly using AI assistants to generate different stories every day, changing email addresses and pretending to be victims or relatives of victims, while demanding that file-hosting services, domain providers, forums, and other platforms delete accounts, files, links, or even entire services.

If a file-hosting provider does not communicate with its domain provider and warn them about this situation in advance, the consequences for users could be extremely serious. All it takes is for one organization to believe such a report, or for someone to simply assume that an email must be legitimate because it was sent from a government address, and a user's account, files, or even an entire service could potentially be affected.

The group of people who have been making these reports around the world has been doing this continuously since June 2024. This is why I believe everyone should take this issue seriously and not underestimate it.

As AI assistants become increasingly powerful and widely available, it is no longer difficult to imagine someone using AI to automatically generate false stories, create large numbers of different reports, and send them out repeatedly.

What concerns me even more is the possibility that this could eventually be used to target competitors or disrupt other businesses through coordinated false reporting.

If this kind of behavior continues to become easier with the help of AI, it could potentially cause serious harm to users and have a negative impact on the entire file-hosting and online platform ecosystem.

I believe this is no longer something that should simply be dismissed as a few isolated complaints. It is a potential problem that the entire industry should be aware of and prepared for.

It's important to mention that long before Katfile experienced various crises, its recommended files section was recommending videos containing illegal content.

This wasn't done by any artificial intelligence; it was the system itself. It's also worth noting that Katfile lacked a button for users to report files to the site owners, as I tried to report this violation more than once.

Given this background, it wasn't surprising that the domain was banned in several countries, leading to fluctuations in earnings, payment delays, and even download count errors. These were the main reasons that led me to stop working with Katfile almost a year ago.

It has been two days since the payment status changed to "Paid," yet I still haven't confirmed receipt of the funds.
I have already been kept waiting for 45 days, and my messages are being ignored.

Agreed, and this matches exactly what I mentioned earlier in this thread. Those public "recommended files" listings openly surfacing genuinely illegal content, combined with simply not caring about what gets hosted and ignoring abuse reports entirely, can only end one way.

If you run a file host like that, neither your payment gateways nor your domains will last. Payment providers terminate you, registrars and authorities block or seize domains, and the cycle just repeats with every new domain.

And this will most likely only get worse from here. At some point he'll simply run out of domains.

Because we’ve been dealing with domains getting blocked over the past two years, things have been difficult. But starting today, the main domains have been unblocked and removed from filtering, so we should see a lot of positive changes.

I think within the next month, the current 45-day payment cycle could also be reduced to around 21 days.
Even though the status changed to "Paid" on August 19, the funds have not yet reached my wallet. The payment deadline has already passed by two days, and I have been waiting for 47 days.

There has been no response to either messages or emails.

First of all, if you want to regain user trust, please pay the full outstanding amount.

Hello,

To be honest, I really don't understand what is happening with KF recently.

The download system has been changed so many times and in so many confusing ways. There are now speed limits, various restrictions, and the download page itself contains a lot of messages that can easily make users feel that something is seriously wrong with the service.

For example, when users open the download page and immediately see a message saying that all servers are currently busy and the download has to wait, what do you think they are going to assume?

Many users will probably think:

"Is KF running out of servers? Is the service having financial or technical problems? Is the company about to shut down?"

And if users get that impression, who is going to feel confident enough to spend money on a Premium membership?

At the same time, the download speed restrictions are also seriously affecting PPD earnings. If users cannot download files at a reasonable speed, there is obviously much less incentive for them to download, which directly affects the income of uploaders.

I have also noticed that my recent PPS earnings have been only around $2 per sale.

Honestly, that's an extremely low amount.

Another issue that has made me even more concerned is that recent payments have not been arriving on time.

When payments that are supposed to be processed according to schedule are delayed, while the download system is constantly changing and the user experience is getting worse, it honestly makes people wonder whether the entire official team has changed again.

I don't know if there has actually been a change in management or operations, but from the outside, the recent decisions and payment delays make the service feel very different from before.

With the current download restrictions, confusing interface changes, server-busy messages, delayed payments, and extremely low PPS commissions, I really cannot understand what the current strategy is.

It feels like KF is doing several things at the same time that discourage users from downloading, discourage users from purchasing Premium accounts, and reduce the income of uploaders.

This is especially confusing because the people who upload and promote files are supposed to help KF attract users and generate revenue.

I really hope the management team can take a step back and look at the overall situation from the perspective of an ordinary user.

Users want one thing above all:

A stable service that works normally.

They don't want the system to be changed every few days, they don't want to see messages that make the service look like it is running out of capacity, they don't want scheduled payments to be delayed, and they certainly don't want to pay for a Premium account if the overall experience makes them worry that something is wrong with the service.

I have been using and promoting KF for a long time, so I am saying this because I genuinely hope KF can improve rather than continue moving in this direction.

Could you please pass this feedback to the management team?

Thank you.

Katfile downloads files very slowly. If you try to use a different node, your account will be prompted to be blocked. Of course, it may be automatically lifted after 24 hours. However, many users say that it has been blocked for a long time, which is puzzling. Some logins will have password errors. When you try to reset, he will prompt that you cannot reset it and must wait until next month. The number of premium days lost during this period is borne by the users themselves. Many users choose to use other cloud services. Katfile never replies when users give feedback. They are unwilling to solve the problem head-on. Moreover, because of the domain name problem, the website often appears inaccessible. I even doubt whether the website can really continue to run. Maybe one day, katfile will run away with the money.

Limiting free downloads to 15 KB/s is an incredibly short-sighted decision. It will drive many forums to ban the use of this cloud storage service, ultimately resulting in a classic case of losing more than you gain.
