hrm goddamn, very bad news.

I'm using this software all the time to upload (somehow maximizes my connection while nothing else I've tried does).

Can you / or anyone suggest alternatives? Don't want to risk it...

please read very important

i know a lot of uploader still uses Z-o-o-m uploader.

my only advise is never ever copy the generated links in the zoom application always use the filehost filemanager to generate the uploaded links. the reason is, the files you upload is not always uploaded in your own account.

i always experience these. successfuly uploaded in zoom app but it is not available in your filemanager. but when you copy the link generated by zoom app then try to download it is it available. and its so obvious that it is not uploaded in my account because when i try to download it is for premium account only because it exceeds the 500mb limit. and my account is set to 2gb limit. so its obvious

these happens usually to uploaders who upload bulk files so they dont have the time to check or validate their links.

please be warned

this can be one of the reason why your downloads or sales decrease. because the other account benefits from your files. imagine how many uploaders are still using z-o-o-m. its the other account which is generating the downloads and sales

I was uploading from web browser and ftp. I recently checked neembuuploader and its great. I increased the buffer size and I was maxing out my 1Gbps RDP Connection.
Currently I am using Neembu for UL and RG. For rest of my mirrors I use FTP. The combination is superb and the best part is its free.
Those who are still using Zoom have no idea that their account details have been exposed to the developer. Well as long as they have the money to pay for it they can enjoy it but once you stop paying you will come to know that the facts stated in this thread are all true.
5$/Month for a petty 50GB/Day upload cap is quite unreasonable. He does not pay for my RDP Bandwidth so why should I allow him to impose bandwidth restrictions on me.
Well the two free apps i.e Neembu and FileZilla are working great for me. People who have been banned by Zoom should definitely give these two apps a try.
My earnings did not diminish after I abandoned Zoom but instead I ended up saving 10$/Month which I was paying to Zoom.

If you upload files and it does not show up in your account, it's because your login info is wrong, so it will upload the file as unregistered user.

ALWAYS check and make sure you've put in correct login info!!

I'd like to just suggest that anyone who has or is still (for whatever reason) using Z_O_O_M should really look into the PlowShare Script which is open source & free to use.

PlowShare allows you to upload and download from a Linux terminal. Unfortunately it does not work in Windows. You really don't have to be a Linux Guru to use it though, its very simple to use and they even now have IRC Support on the network irc.freenode.net in the channel #Plowshare (I'm active in there under the name SpecialEd)

PlowShare Script:
https://code.google.com/p/plowshare/wiki/Readme4

Fast and Cheap Ubuntu VPS for Plowshare:
https://www.balticservers.com/en/usd/custom-servers/1_core_server

Note: With plowshare your user names and passwords aren't shared like they were with Z_O_O_M. Its open source so it can be trusted that you won't get screwed over like many did with Z_O_O_M...

It's very unfortunate that it doesn't work for Windows, you know.

Might there be any possibility at all to make it function through Curl or something like that?

Presently, I'm really in a bind with uploading. FTP sucks, but Neembuu guys are still working on making FileOM file size limitation bigger (happening in next update, hopefully).

Until then I'm shit out of luck because I sure as hell won't go back to zoom.

Its a good program.
Why on earth will the creator delete any files,or steal the account and password.
He has run this program since 2008.
Sounds not very believable.

Yes,you have to understand that files you upload will go to "HIS" account, and he will earn all the money from it,unless you register (buy a key) so the files go to your account.

And if you understand how file clouds works...if the file you uploaded...that ends up on his account...and you reomote transfer that file into your account.
If the file later get DMCA and removed from his(zoom) account, then yours and everyone elses file will also be removed.
Because cloud-servers work this way that...
If 100 individuals uploads S01E01 Game of Thrones...DIMENSION 720p (1700mb) into Rapidgator
When this file get a DMCA...ONLY ONE file gets deleted from the Rapidgator server...and that ONE file are the same for ALL the 100 uploaders (no matter what you name it).
So ALL 100 files on Rapidgator will then be DMCA.
The Cloud-Hosts only STORE ONE file for an upload.(the first). All the later uploades, gets a watermark reqednition when you upload it,and the uploader only gets a copy link from that 1st file.

One way to avoid this is to RAR the file (and even better, put a little other info, like a picture) in that RAR files.
That way ONLY you will have a "OWN" private file on the cloud-storege server, and you file will NOT be DMCA,like the others, unless they DMCA your private one.

I personally don't think its very likely.

If you don't have a Linux VPS/Server then you can download Oracle VirtualBox and Ubuntu Linux ISO (both are open source & free). Then you can install VirtualBox and create a VM for Ubuntu using the Ubuntu ISO. 1 Core CPU and 128MB of RAM would probably suffice. Also for the VM you can attach your Windows Hard Drives as a "Shared Folder" so that the VM can access your Windows files. Then install PlowShare in the VM and you'll be good to go, all for the cost of nothing :)

Hmm, that's a good idea actually. So, basically I would have the VM using my connection and uploading stuff via linux & plowshare?

I think I'll try it out once I've time again to deal with it.

Thanks, mate :)

Exactly, and if your going to host the VM it'd be 100% free :) VirtualBox is the best hyperviser out there in my opinion, I've got all sorts of stuff virtualized from Dos 6.22 -> Windows 8, OpenSolaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, hell I even have a Hackintosh Mountain Lion VM that runs in VirtualBox!

The other alternative would be to invest in a VPS or dedicated server that runs Ubuntu. I currently have a VPS with KnownSRV that works well (I use it for varnish/nginex primarily) and seven dedicated servers from BalticServers. Both of these hosts maintain communications with excellent track records right here on this board and have solutions that are really good deals. So if you explore the local VirtualBox path and decide you want to get serious with your plowshare uploading I'd definitely knock on either of their doors and explore them :)

Sounds not very believable.

Because he's a greedy fucker. It was proven that he hacked one users account: the ip from which the files were removed on that users account was the same as the ip from which the zoom "developer' logged in to wjunction, if that is not enough proof for you it's your problem.
After reading this thread i understood what happened to my share-online account.

Btw, whilst I tried out K2S I still was using zoom, but guess what...

Through that nifty feature the Moneyplatform site has, e.g. the login info page or something, I suddenly saw, that wow, I have logged in from Romania!

That, and, when I was using uploadable, all the files I uploaded via zoom mysteriously never appeared on my file manager.

Using zoom never, ever again.

No one should. Who does just evidently doesn't comprehend what he risks with.

Zoom has programmed the software to upload files to his account when your key gets blacklisted or expires. I never trusted Zoom for my links. I always got them from my file manager.
He has your user id and password credentials so that he can always find you even if you purchase a million keys. Only way to evade his watch is by changing both your username and passwords and getting a key from a new email id.
Uploaded recently introduced the security feature bcoz Zoom was deleting his users files when they refused to pay. He was trying to extort his users.
I left Zoom long time ago when he blacklisted my key along with my user id and password credentials. I knew before Northland that he was phishing user details but I could not prove it since I did not have the technical expertise in doing so. Also no one would believe me since I was banned and people would just think that I was one of the whiners who criticized the software for getting banned.
I use FileZilla, Web Browser and Neembuuploader for now and it has been working great for me. I have the same earnings as before.
