Z_o_o_m uploader tool scam!

I've used Zoom for at least 4 years and have never experienced deleted files or stolen money balances. But then again, I've donated $3 a long time ago. Probably the best investment I've made.

And I honestly think 'Paralytic' should stop responding in this thread. All he does is putting Zoom down and spamming his own product.

Zoom is the best solution for uploaders. But you got to stop being a cheap ass and pay (a little) for it.

Hi,

"putting zoom down" ... Not sure what you imply by saying that, but sure, I will continue trashing his application and its owner. Why, you ask? Because like others, I wasn't informed anywhere or anytime that zoom uploader was collecting my personal information/login credentials. Therefore, I feel violated and my privacy invaded. When that happens you can only expect people to be angry, because not everyone is like you who doesn't really care about security on the internet.

Using it free is not stupid, but is recommendable to pay for it.

I enter several times a day my login and password at new sites. It's my risk if the person 'on the other side' fishes my login /password and tries it on other sites. Imagine me trying Neembuu, who guarantees me that the owner doesn't steal my details? Security? Don't let me laugh. On the Internet there is no security .... there's only one method to get full security ... not using the Internet at all.

Putting Down = Talking negative

1. So its people's fault if someone like ZOOM's owner invades their privacy and collects their personal information?

Imagine me trying Neembuu, who guarantees me that the owner doesn't steal my details?

2. Neembuu Uploader's source code is available freely on the internet. There's a reason why we call it an "open source" application. Be my guest and explore the source code of our application: https://sourceforge.net/p/neembuuuploader/code/HEAD/tree/NeembuuUploader/

Can you do this with ZOOM uploader? No. Why? Because that will uncover the illegal activities undertaken by its owner, right?

Security? Don't let me laugh. On the Internet there is no security .... there's only one method to get full security ... not using the Internet at all.
3. Actually, by saying that you're making me laugh. It is evident from your sentences that you're not really tech-savvy enough and neither are you a developer. It is also evident that you have a reckless disregard for your privacy and/or security which leads you to believe that nothing can be secured and obviously as you said ... you believe that "there's only one method to get full security ... not using the Internet at all".

I cannot waste my precious time arguing with such people. Get your facts and logic right then maybe someday we will speak again.

1) Read again. What I tried to explain (and obviously you didn't get it due to your lack of English) is that it is your own responsibility to make sure you trust the services you use.
3) LOL ... if you really had known me and read some of my 5300+ posts you'll see that I clearly have a excellent understanding of technology. And would it surprise you that
I am a developer and proficient in PHP/MySQL, C#, C++ and VB.net. I started programming around 43 years ago (if you're interested on a TRS-80).

If I look at your application and compare it to Zoom it seems it's designed by a 5 year old. One example is how the 'register as new account' buttons don't line up neatly.
Another bug is that when you fill in details of hosts and click on the 'x' (instead of 'save & close' ) the last filled in password is not saved. In such a case it's recommendable to disable the 'x'
so that people have to use the 'save & close' button. Or add a 'Cancel' button. Funny you call yourself a 'developer' but didn't catch this easy to find bug (or more: a design fault).

I have been using zoom since it was first released... I have never had any kinds of issues AT ALL. My accounts were never accessed/hacked and all files I upload always go into my account.

1. What you forgot to mention is that its the responsibility of application owners and websites to state clearly, when, if, what and how they will collect personal information of their users and how they plan to use it. This, as you would have clearly seen, was never done in the case of ZOOM uploader. The owner of ZOOM uploader never mentions that he is indeed collecting the login credentials of its users. Now, the question is, since this information was never declared by the owner of the application, it is left upto the users to discover this bit of information by themselves.

3. Your logic and the things that you mentioned in your previous response do not line up with the level of expertise you are claiming to hold. You have no sense of privacy policies or security and, as I mentioned previously, have a reckless disregard for your own security. You could be having 400 years of experience, but it doesn't mean anything if your logic is as flawed as yours is, in several aspects.

Moreover, I haven't scripted the gui portions that you commented about. Those were scripted by the old developers of NU, not me.

I thought you didn't want to spent time arguing.

Now entice me with how to secure my dealings on the Internet. You sound naive ... and stop promoting a product which is faulted. It all starts with the GUI .... the code is not seen by the average user.

In it's current state it doesn't even closely resemble Zoom .. neither in features, supported filehosts or GUI.

Stop defending an application whose owner is a known privacy invader and who is also banned from wJunction for a reason.
You seem to find minor bugs in an open-source application more deeply concerning than an application which collects and sends login credentials to the owner. Stop brown-nosing ZOOM, it isn't going to change people's perception about its owner.

Well looking at several people replying here, some are satisfied over the years. I guess the ones complaining, never paid a single cent (or used illegal keys). Open Source ... let me tell you money doesn't stink (as I have lots of it) LOL.

And that's the last I say about it.

Even if ONE person was hacked or had their privacy invaded by the ZOOM's owner (which did happen), it implies the intentions of the owner. It doesn't require 10,000 people to be hacked to prove the illegal intentions of ZOOM's owner. This has been proved by the staff at wJunction and almost everyone knows what the owner of ZOOM is capable of doing. So yeah a bunch might not have been affected by ZOOM, but that doesn't justify collecting login credentials.

You all seem to forget that its not REQUIRED to illegally use the collected login credentials for something bad to happen. Something bad already happened when his application sent your login credentials to the owner. This is not allowed. The owner nowhere mentions that he is doing this.

Well if he were to hack me, I really wouldn't complain too much. I have been using his software since it was first released and have made many thousands of dollars as a result of his software. Using ANY software always comes with some kind of risk, it just means that Zoom's uploader comes with a lot more. It is true that he shouldn't be collecting data, but please stop trying to take advantage of this thread and advertising your software.

Are you deeply retarded without any way back? Are you really justifying the theft of personal data by saying that 'oh you should have everything bad coming to you as you didn't pay for it"?

And how does having "illegal keys" even relate to the functioning of the program, i.e. it sends the info illegally to its owner regardless.

Seriously, shut up kid.

Well this kid has just become 56 years old.

And I think you should shut up before making more than a fool of yourself.

As what I understand (yes, I know more about the case than you think) the keys you receive after you donate (you obviously never did that) were shared. So he took 'revenge' on those people, not on those using it free (with the limits) or donators. He could decide which users to 'penalize' and which one not. He never made use of details of 'good' users.

I've been away for 1 year, but nothing really has changed. 95% idiots and 5% well knowledgeable members.

Well, I used free version so your claim about revenge is incorrect right there.

Now, facts.

When I uploaded to uploadable, files never appeared. He got them to his acc.

When I uploaded to k2s I suddenly saw myself having been logging in with Romanian Ip even tho I'm not from there.

So go ahead call me a fool. I'll only laugh at your lack of maturity at 56.

I think I am going to fart.

How do you know uploadable files came to his own account? How have you verified that? Did you login to his account?

Furthermore, did you ever consider that somebody else hacked your account? How did you know it was him? It is suspected that he was caught logging in with a Czech account, so why do you think a Romanian IP belonged to him? It would be possible to use a VPN, but you accuse him without ever being able to proof it. Just hearsay. I suspect that where you come from nobody knows the difference between Czech Republic and Romania.

And how and where would you see the Romanian IP you logged in at K2S? And perhaps it was a cache problem of your Internet provider. Sometimes I log in to IPtorrents and get somebody else his account.

Still you proof nothing. Just kid talk.

On the affiliate site there is a section for it. Do some research for change.
