X4B.ORG - Reverse Proxy Hosting - Hide your Server IP (Russia, Sweden, USA, Romania)

Status
Not open for further replies.
New Features:
* Uptime monitoring. Notification via email.

Please note the monitor IP is NOT the same as the proxy IP. Your services are monitored from the X4B main IP 46.17.96.16. This will IP will change in the future, but it will continue being the X4B main IP. We will let you know if and when the IP changes.

Please let me know if you have any issues with it. Its still to be treated as experimental at this stage. This feature will form the base of a much requested and long anticipated feature, fallback IPs.

Hopefully the next feature of the production line will be Hosted DNS Support, however don't quote me on it. Mail Proxying also could happen first.

The new proxy features (mail / generic TCP proxying) will be going live this evening if everything goes as expected. The new servers have been distributed accross the nodes and the code has been written for the interface. Persuming everything goes well it will be enabled once some user interface features are written.

As a result the interface will have a few hours downtime to facilitate the transition.

Also to be included in the rollout, SSL support (its back!) and a new port manager with real port fowards (port->port)

Update:
Having some connectivity issues with the sweden datacenter, they have been alerted. Should be resolved shortly I hope.
Resolved a couple minutes later. :)

Small bug fix with the Monitor Service preventing people from changing plans and possibly other IP settings. Resolved. Thanks AmN.

Also a few cases where the monitor daemon has reported inacurately have been found and are being looked into.

Just FYI The monitor daemon is temporarily offline while a few bugs are resolved. Expect it to be fixed by Monday. And its official, our next node will be based out of Ecatel, NL. Expect discounted (Tier 3) pricing for early adopters. Just waiting until a few more units in Sweden and Russia are sold before bringing the node online, its going to be our biggest investment yet... our first dedicated edge node. This means no middle men, we bring the savings from shopping at he provider right back to you.

Expect another release of awsomeness soon.

Beta testing will be happening in a day or two, if you are interested reply to the thread.

As announced on our twitter, TCP proxying (often used for mail) has been disabled on Russia Node 2.

Should you be relying on this for your mail please point your MX records at your real IP. We will resolve this issue as soon as possible. If this is not an option, you can utilize a swedish node for this service. Please contact us before doing this and we will provide the funding to do so.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved in a few days.

EDIT: Resolved.

Good questions :) Reply Sent.

Just a note to customers. We are currently experiencing problems with PayPal, we are in contact with them via email and will call them when they open on Monday. Alertpay is still working fine, and if you contact support we will arange for a manual payment to be made (existing customers please contact us before doing this). We hope this issue will be resolved within 24-48 hours.

We dont offer any storage. Plans are split in bandwidth and IP.

You can choose a plan that is prebuilt (Set bandwidth per month) or Pay-As-You-Go ($IP/day + $BW). We offer the two systems for maximum flexibility.

Just for those waiting on the return of paypal, we hope that it will be resolved tomorrow.
