Willy can you answer if these could be a viable solution or is the affiliate prog 100% going to end for good?? i would hate to see wupload go down.

1.reduce payouts across the board by 30%

2. impose limits on account holders with regard downloads maybe 150-200gig max per month only people who really abuse need more. If they want 500gig per month its double the monthly fees.

3. stop all remote outbound transfers to everyone except filesonic

4. impose limits on RU to 50 gig per day per account?

5. cut in half the referal income so down to 5%

6. basically find a way to stop all the abuse of your system and you will be rolling in profits, i see such waste with 1000's of huge files only getting perhaps 1 or 2 hits in total on some forums. If a file is not downloaded more than 50 times per month and is 500meg -1 gig in size it should auto delete.

wupload will die off rather quickly if you cut off the affil prog which would be a shame, there must be a lot of value in this company as it is. Maybe add some advertising revenue?

If it is rather some other reason aside from financial then okay.


wupload has been a money machine for a lot of people so even if it does close down i wish you well in the next venture, some of the bonuses and promos you have run have been awesome thanks for those and never missing a payment. Also you have taken a lot of personal flack on here and never lost your cool, not sure many people could handle that.

I will not be deleting my files that are live now since i am confident you will find a way to come back with a great affiliate scheme that is very profitable. Traffic is king today on the net and you have that don't let that slide away. Make your company profitable.
 
^ wlly doesnt care anymore if you leave or stay on the filehost.
Once the decision taken its the last.

I still hope they reduce the payment system and impose some kinda disk usage limitation.

Anyways Every good thing must come to an end,.. sooner the better :P

My premium accounts ends on 28th nov. I guess bcoz of that Wupload is closing down.
Willy just calm down I will renew my account you too renew your site :))
 
Mine ends 31 Dec.,but it was free,anyway,i think i will leave this,Nothing will be the same without Wupload,he was the fastest to RU,easy and familiar.

PD:I hope too re reduces the PPD earnings and % of PPS,i will not care,all to make WU still what it is,ofc when they are done,put old PPD

Wupload should just shutdown the site and refund everyone's money. Let's face it, Wupload is no Rapidshare in terms of infrastructure, longevity and reputation that we can expect uploaders to keep uploading to it for free.

Congrats man, at least someone here is thinking about the downloaders here.
And i said this once, that wupload didin't focused on create a comunity, wupload just throw with cash .
I'm so sorry for sites owners who told they're users to buy premiums with wupload, beside the fact that the service was full of errors and bad speeds now they will remain with useles acounts and money lost.
And i understand the fact that many uploaders needed the money earned with wupload, i need the money from ptu too, i am in a 3 world country and here 300-400 $ per months are more money that a finished college guy earn but as we have bills, and the need for the money so the people who spend 150 $ for a service that it will use for nothing ..
Anyway, again ...don't blame willy, i'm sure he's done he's best to keep wupload up and running ..
This should be a leson for new filehosts, to keep the abusers away.
I wanna hear now people swearing fileserve for trying to protect the server for abusers.
Now maybe you will understand why they try..

WUpload is simple.
1- He wants to have good rank and important uploaders,
2- He pays very good.
3- Now he closes his affliliate program. He don't want PPS. He want to win all the money for premiums on the time of the uploaders upload.
4- So he will be WMegaupload.
5- So he will win a lot of money from the premiums account.
