Winrar File Split Query

This is a very noob question i would like to know about..

When i am splitting a video to get splitted parts of 400mb each, i am entering 400mb in the Split to volume box, but after splitting the file sizes are 381Mb.

what do i need to put in the Split to volume box to get splitted parts having sizes like exact 400Mb or say exact 300Mb and so on.

I use the store method of compression in winrar.

you have to put 418.xx , safety put 419 Mb, your links will show 400 MB .

you intermingled the MB and Mb. (1000 vs 1024)

400/381 * 400 = 419.9475065616798

The script you are converting must be multiplying by 1000 causing that
1mb = 1024kb

the size on the disk varies from the size on the filehost.
So make it in between 410-420 to get 400mb on filehost
