Windows Vs Linux for a dedicated server

I just dont know if the middle is enough or should I choose the premium. There is not much difference is price, I just want to know if it's worth or not?

Title says all, but you really need to think on what you are saying.
Windows is used only in special needs. In most cases Linux is better and FREE.

Windows Server 2012 R2 Now is the best they have more and more new functions and security is very good , you can manage very easy with system center , hyper-v has new funtions and eficiently

You should use Windows only if you really need to, if your project requests' it. If not, always go with Linux and don't post while drinking )

Hi.. I would always recommend Linux. I personally find it more compatible. But you can use Windows if you have to. Choice is yours.

Only linux, maybe less friendly user and you need to know lot of special commands, but much less bugs, backdoors.
