Why the paranoid coding of links?

also google dont track the links aswell... i "think" this helps because of googles mass index of rapidshare links.. google dont think to highly of them so by coding them google dont parse them as links but as text.. this way your site should have some greater ness over others the link them.. thats my own personal logic btw

Well, live link is act like link back, imagine you posted many posts and they had screenshot link back to authors, that surely will pisses them off.
