Why facebook's PPC too high?

I try to get traffic through PPC in facebook but they need to pay very high for their PPC.

I think it depends on the keywords you want to promote.. Prices changing from competition of the keywords like google etc.

I didn't find it too expensive to promote with PPC on facebook, so i guess as it was said before it depends on the keyword
