Where should I get images from for my blog?

I am running a tech blog. Now I was fetching images from google images but I heard most of them are copyrighted.

How do I get images for specific electronics ? I can't find them on any stock site.

Am I allowed to take it from the manufacturer's website?

Search on google "free stock photos" and you will see various sites providing copyright free pictures, such as Freerange morguefile Stockvault FreeDigitalPhotos stock.xchng etc.... And about 99% of time you can use images from manufacturer's site but make sure to read their usage policy or contact them.

This is a tough question - "royalty free" stock photos doesn't means that photos are free. There are many different types of licenses and you need to check every photo license carefully. Additionally, putting a credit for the image might be necessary.

Manufacturer's website might be a good idea, try to contact them directly and ask for permission.
