Well, even tho there are some screenshots with earnings like 1K $ a day, those guys maybe are good in spreading links, but that's all, they are complete idiots about being and keeping it low, complete amateurs. Morons, in one word.
Also, there is a set of developers, that will sell and make you anything you want , for what you can ended up in jail being someone's bitch... They are on the safe side, you are not.
Once, there was underground *sigh*, hackers didn't share their shitz, people hide their earnings, and keep it for themselves... And then new trend, wave came up with idiotic sites like:
"Wow, look how much I earned, I am driving a ferarri, do you want those earnings? Sing up here, it's only $69.99, Start earning today doing nothing" What you get is a book, that will tell you to make same crappy site, with same crappy fake text, and sell same thing, basically what you experienced, you need to pass further... Complete scam.
Now...new wave of kids on the block popped up where they started earning $ doing illegal things on the internetz, without leaving their warm home. That false feeling got them, like a drug. They saw few bucks, started to be 'webmasters',so they could earn more, then another wave of so called web host resellers showed up, to grab their money, after them file-hosts started to directly encourage spreading porn and warez, employing people to give advices over msn, where and how to spread their linkz.
No wonder hotfile and rapidshare went down. They went down because of 1000s of wannabe uploaders.
Fileserve, filesonic, oron, freakshare, bitshare...they are all in the list, it is just a question when, not, will they go down... they will.
Advice to all wannabe uploaders:
Go and see life, go out and find a girl, illegal money is devil's money, and it will bite your ass, sooner or later. You will either ended up in a lawsuit, just like hotfile case, and ruin your life for few lousy bucks, or spend you best years looking at damn screen.
You won't get rich, and you won't feed your family doing illegal stuff.
Your so called roll models here are idiots, don't follow them, screenshots can be manipulated, new users created by those host services to show you some fake screenshot earnings, be always aware of that.
