Whats the advantage of RS ?

Hello guys
i am uploading also with RapidShare.
i just want to ask what's the advantage of uploading?
if anyone downloads the file, what i will get

i have already got 20-30 downloads from my RS files.

what i get?

There's still many who use RS (free users). Rapidshare uploads gets you decent traffic from google if you own a warez site.

no but when you upload a movie to rs with a hf mirror, the rs parts always get more downloads, says enough

You got that right,

Myself I am though advertising their links on my forum, for which they give nothing back to anyone.

It's bitter sweet to see them choose such a lame new business model though, hopefully in the future they will go back to their old practises.

Firstly, its DDL, not DLL.

Secondly a wealth of people still use RS. I should know because the majority probably use a site I run.

I don't see the harm in continuing to post RS links, especially since it doesn't take most people more than a few minutes to upload reasonably large files.

That being said, I do disagree with their new pricing system and I think they should have kept the Rapid Pro price at 99 rapids.

RS was the best server for direct downloads, but today is the worst.
RS staff removed many accounts and disabled accounts with thousands of Rapids too...
I always used rapidshare for down and up, but the last changes discourage many uploaders...
