I have the same issue and is like this from when they changed the player.
There are aware of the situation and are trying for weeks to find a fix.
More info only Vidlox can tell you.
The only thing that you can do right now , is to hardsub the video.

Problem is this subtitle mod is from someone over github and open source. We tried alot of things to fix it but nothing solves it. We even asked orignal coder to fix it, he just keep saying he is very busy and will try to fix it very soon but that soon never comes.... I am sorry not much can do in this.
