I encode and upload with the same server.

Encodes for streaming don't need any quality, encode as fast as possible.
Just fuck the quality. As long as it's not pixelated, no streaminguser will see the difference.

You can use HandBrake with few settings for fast enconde, but that's machine and time - killer.

Handbrake. I need 4-7 minutes for one episode. If you make backups of unconverted and converted files, it's muuuuuch easier.
