Thanks for payment, it was quick.

Hello Everyone.

I encountered a surprising and potentially dangerous situation with my latest payment. If you don't want your payments to be sent to a different address like mine was, please carefully check the DM messages shown in the image below!

Note: Make absolutely sure to check your payment address right before submitting a payment request!

Security Incident Update

We are aware of reports from multiple users regarding payment addresses being changed unexpectedly, resulting in payments being sent to addresses that were not intended by the users.

We want to make it clear that this is not being treated as a simple user side security issue. Most of the affected accounts had Security Lock enabled, which is specifically designed to prevent payment details from being changed. Under normal circumstances, payment details for accounts protected by Security Lock cannot be changed through the user interface, and changes would require authorized backend access.

We are therefore investigating this matter as a serious security incident, including how these payment addresses were changed and whether our systems or backend controls were involved. We do not want to speculate about the root cause until the investigation is complete.

UsersDrive has been operating for many years, and this is the first incident of this nature that we have experienced. We understand that this is concerning, particularly for users who have trusted our platform and security systems over the years. We are taking this matter extremely seriously and are committed to finding out exactly what happened.

As an immediate precaution, all currently pending payouts will be refunded to the respective user accounts. Before submitting a new payout request, please carefully verify your payment details.

We also strongly recommend that all users change their usernames and passwords and use unique credentials that are not used on any other service.

For payments that have already been processed and confirmed on-chain, unfortunately, blockchain transactions cannot simply be cancelled or reversed. We are reviewing the affected transactions individually and evaluating all available options.

Please always verify your payment details before requesting a payout.

We also ask for your support and cooperation while we investigate this incident. If you have been affected, please provide us with the relevant transaction details and any screenshots or information that may help our investigation. Please do not share passwords, private keys, recovery phrases, or other sensitive credentials publicly.

We sincerely apologize to everyone affected. We know that trust is earned over many years, and we appreciate the patience and support of our community while we work to resolve this matter and strengthen our security measures.

We will provide further updates as soon as we have verified information to share.

Security Incident Update

We have now identified the cause (Link for reference: https://ibb.co/RpQcS64w) of the payment address issue that affected multiple users.

Our investigation confirmed that a security vulnerability in the XFileSharing Pro software used by our platform allowed unauthorized changes to payment details, including on accounts where Security Lock was enabled. This is why some payment addresses were changed despite the normal restrictions in place.

We have taken immediate action to patch and secure the affected system and have implemented additional safeguards to prevent unauthorized changes to payment details.

As previously announced, all pending payouts will be refunded. Once your payout is refunded, please carefully verify your payment address before submitting a new request.

We also strongly recommend that all users change their passwords and use a unique password that is not used elsewhere.

Unfortunately, some payouts were already processed before the issue was identified. Confirmed blockchain transactions cannot simply be reversed, but we are reviewing the affected transactions and will continue to evaluate any available recovery options.

We sincerely apologize to everyone affected. We have been operating for many years, and this is the first incident of this nature we have experienced. We understand the seriousness of what happened and the impact it has had on users who trusted us with their payments.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and support while we worked to identify the issue. We will continue monitoring the system closely and will provide further updates as necessary.
