gibalah: Our users seem to prefer PPD over PPS. We all know that PPS is the most fair program for all parties, hence you won't find many PPD programs around any longer (correct me if I'm wrong). Hijacking sales is a bit extreme - We offer up, so if someone wants to get on PPS and enjoy the rebills, they should

Tankred: We still hold it for 30 days.

Silkystar: Remote upload is working fine (?). I see lots of files going through.

jeffre: You can switch all you want, do note that switching will only occur on Tuesdays.

airwalk: It's a rather big task that you're asking. It requires research and recoding of the whole system. We're working on it but don't expect it to happen overnight.

pinkside: We don't hold PPD for 30 days. You must be thinking of another host

gibalah: Not our fault you choose the PPD - Some people find it more beneficial.

It's okay.
Although it's an evil game rule, it's the approach that you can offer such a high PPD rate and keep your business.
But don't forget the fact that your evil rules will discourage hardworking uploaders eventually.

For example, a crafty uploader can just work hard in first few months and hijack subsequent rebills because of your auto-rebilling policy.
No downloaders just follow a single uploader, so they won't request cancellations because it.
Hence subsequent hardworking uploaders are so stupid that contribute money to the crafty and lazy guy.
You cannot fix it because you don't want to provide a non-recurring payment option.

The PPD trap that we are talking about is another example.
You know it makes a black hole so that you can hijack all subsequent rebills if corresponding sales were genereated when uploaders were on PPD.
The auto-recurring policy largely reduces the possibility that users renew their membership from uploaders' download links.
I know it benefits you a lot but it finally make uploaders disappointed.

It seems fair but he catch is: You're forced to be PPD until you make 10 bucks, then only are you allowed to switch to PPS, and even that doesn't happen immediately. You have to wait a few days. So whatever sales and rebill you generated during that period of time will be "hijacked". The best part is when you raise this, "Not our fault you choose the PPD" will be the standard answer, as though you have been given the opportunity to choose. Now they blame you for "choosing" PPD.

of course when you are on ppd you will see all sales, to atract you move to PPS. once moved you will be shaved.

2+2+3 sale but 1 day premium :))

Exactly, stop because your users will not be happy being rebilled for "risk free trial", while you get nothing for the matter.
JO can be in denial like religious fanatics, but very very few will buy premium from host that offer 600 KB/s free speed.... even with 200 mbit home connection it is okay for me to download that speed, while running other simultanous download, because no one with a brain will run Uploadable as main host, so all imprortant files will be on uploaded, nitro, k2s or Rapidgator account somewhere, and obscure files on Uploadable so can wait if you are searching.

I still think it's unfair though we have to accept it in order to help this filehost grow. If I'm not wrong, Uploadable is the first filehost who doesn't pay rebills in such ways.

According to Jo's explanation, I believe he treats the PPD/PPS choice as gambling, while we don't think so. No matter what plan is chosen by us, we always think we should earn more because of our hardworking. When we are on PPD, we should work hard in order to get more download counts. When we are on PPS, we should work hard in order to keep rebills. Both rebills and download counts are caused by our hardworking. otherwise, rebills will be gone and download counts will be decreased. It's the reason why uploaders who had just switched to PPS came here and asked why they cannot earn from those rebills kept by their hardworking.
