Ubuntu Display Help

Well, I just made the change from Windows XP to the newest Ubuntu. Everything is running fine, including Photoshop CS2 and such, but my only problem is the way fonts are displayed. I screwed around with the font settings and got them a bit better, and I even imported the entire Windows fonts folder from my backup, but it's still funky. Bold zeros look all pixely and blurry. Any one know why this happens or a way to fix it? Thanks.

Could it possibly be you screen resolution?

Screen resolution is fine because the images and such are not pixely or oddly shaped. Only certain characters in various applications.

i tryed going to linux it dont like my hardware rofl so i went from xp to vista back to xp and then to daul boot haha

Ubuntu has a problem with screen resolutions and fonts/text.

Only hope I can give you is that, this will has been fixed for 9.04, so wait until that is released and upgrade
