Whitehat This site created on 22nd July is ranked 4000 on Alexa

Hey,
I just came across
designrazzi.com

I found this site when I was going to invest some money into some wordpress theme site and I found that it was getting most of its traffic from designrazzi.

Now I looked up its alexa rank:
Designrazzi.com Site Info
It was 4000!

Then I looked up the WHOIS and I found this:

Updated Date: 24-jul-2013
Creation Date: 22-jul-2013
Expiration Date: 22-jul-2015

How did it get ranked so high so fast? I mean the site is almost filled with affiliate links and it gets most traffic from google if the Alexa stats are right.

like I said. WPRAZZI.COM is now redirecting to that site, so all of it's traffic is now being referred to that site.
Most likely wprazzi suffered some google penalization or something, so they decided to switch to a new domain, redirecting all traffic to that.
wprazzi.com is currently 20K Alexa, meaning that i most likely had a alot of Alexa rank generating traffic as well.

They are getting traffic from a redirect and Alexa doesn't mean crap. It can easily be faked too. YAWNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Alexa rank can be manipulated like bxflow said, don't worry about it.
