still the best host out there. always stable. steady time and good payments... honestly uploaders should just stick with this instead of trying so many low quality new videohosts... admin is also always really helpful and nice...

Precisely not.

Accounts that are years old are simply deleted without a real reason or a reply to the peer PM.

There has never been a problem reported all these years, although we have been in contact from time to time.

The whole thing has only recently taken place with some people who have been there for a long time, where funds are then also gone. This has never happened before.

To say that copyright was violated in order to delete an account is a joke. ( after many, many years )

Something is wrong here and it might have been a good idea to leave.

I absolutely agree with you. Having worked with the main hosts for a long long time, I have never once been banned by ANY host for infringement of copyright. My gut feeling is, that the accounts that were banned were making decent money, and therefore it wasn't viable to have those accounts open.

For example, and it may not seem much, but I could average up to near enough 500 per month revenue, and this was only ever going to increase. I'd even been in contact through DM's on many occasions, and even had pretty much instant payments for the past few months since PayPal went.

My linking site was down for a couple of weeks, which lowered my income, then I was banned around 3 days after they came back online and my earnings increased again dramatically.

As someone who recommends hosts on various other platforms and sites, it won't be a host I will be recommending any longer. I've also put forwards recommendations which are being discussed for them to be removed as a trusted hosts at two of the top worldwide streaming sites, as well as the top streaming site in Germany.

Just to point out something else. Around a year ago I was banned from one other host for "Abnormal traffic". As soon as we spoke via PM they reinstated my account. This was due to the same issue, my host site being down, and then a 400% increase in traffic when they came back online. You'd think a host would be glad of the traffic rather than deleting accounts.

At least the other host looked at the issue and immediately saw what it was, rather than keeping the earnings and deleting the account.

@Streamtape can you please give an explanation. We, your users, are worried about this type of situations...

If you got banned, that means you have violated our ToS several times. As written in our ToS, which has to be accepted on signup, we have the right to terminate your account in our sole discretion without any prior notice.

We don't take ToS violations lightly, but we're also making sure we don't have false positives.

There you go, so basically it's likely you'll now be banned if you have files repeatedly deleted for copyright infringement.

As well as having your earnings kept too.

There are definitely underlying problems. Streamtape has now been removed as a host, after some discussions, from the German site with over 55 million monthly page views. I think this should tell the users everything you need to know. If there had been prior discussion before account deletion it possibly may have stayed as a trusted host, but sadly there was little choice.
