Yes, if its h264 with AAC.

If any other format, no. And the encoding is quite aggressive at streamsb.

Of course you can pre encode any file into mp4 with h264 codec with AAC.

my files are in mkv format and are in h264 8/10bits 1080p would streamsb re-encode them? or will they not because as you mentioned they won't if it's in h264 with aac
