SSL on the forums?

Hi admins!

Would that be possible to enable SSL on the website?
Even a self signed certificate would do, or a free one like startcom offers...

It would be nice if we could at least login on a SSL protected link - and it would be great if it was even possible to stay on that SSL link then, but if you are afrait about ressources, the login page only wouldn't be too painful...

What do you think?

:)

I don't see any need for SSL on here. The only thing you might want securing is the login form, so when you post the data it can't be intercepted and read.

Apart from that, there's absolutely no reason for SSL on here.

Well, you might think that there is no 'need' for ssl on the whole site, but it wouldn't hurt.

Anyway, that's why I say "at least login" - I don't like what I say to go plain text across the internets - but yeah, login page could be enough :)
