You have already changed the rate to $9 /$6 for everyone. No point taking votes on it any longer. Seems like most wanted it by the looks of things

Actually you're right about the poll. However i can't seem to see how to change this poll or even stop it.

Change your poll to see how many people want FTP and other features.
I know you said only a couple of people have mentioned FTP but trust me it makes a lot of difference. Took a while for me to move all my stuff with remote, even though it was very fast it was more trouble than if you'd had ftp.
Zoom will help but ftp is best.:D

Hi, we applied for alertpay weeks ago, we are awaiting reply from their support, however from looking around the forums, a lot of people are awaiting help from them right now. So maybe they have had some issues there.
Meantime there are bank wires and some other methods. Paxum is one that many are starting to use.
We should be on this weeks zoom update out tomorrow or saturday.
I will update the thread as soon as i hear anything.

THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE
Bottom line is, you can make $9 /$6, or $14/$6 or $12/$9 or apply if you have good volume for a custom rate.
1. We are not hosted in the USA.
2. Those standard figures are roughly 50% /30%. - so not unfair even if that was the end of the story. The dollar has sunk of late too.
3. Of course there is VAT to pay so take out another 20% off of the gross cost for all europe we don't get anthing like the amount you are quoting. Referal % needs to be taken into account and as for the rates....
4. Those rates which you are quoting are the basic rate. It goes to $12 / $9 for some persons. So that would be more like 75% / 50%. Thats before we take out VAT and referal 15% (for refered users) and tax. That leaves nothing at all like the numbers you are quoting.
5. Even if you do not make enough sales for a custom rate or the top rate then you can see for yourself there is another $5 per sale for those that make 100 sales per month (average just over 3 sales per day) so thats right there $14 per sale also. Or if only 50 sales in 30 days then an extra $2 per sale so $11 per sale.
Running a filehost is a very expensive business. The older hosts that could pay out and keep going mostly paid 0 yes 0 recurring and maybe up to 60% first sale. That left them cash to keep things running.
If you try to run it on even more slim margins you are running a very large risk of making a loss. If you make a loss then you can not pay out, or buy more servers, or hire staff.
The bottom line is, the conversion rates are still high and that the affiliate still earns very well. Most persons that have tried us have reported far HIGHER revenue than they have had before.
If you still consider the payscale to be crazy in favour of squillion then i'm sorry but there is nothing more i can say about it. The amounts left after all things considered are way way less than you can actually imagine.
Bottom line is, you can make $9 /$6, or $14/$6 or $12/$9 or apply if you have good volume for a custom rate.
If you can't make the competition threshold of 50 premiums in 30 days or 100 premiums in 30 days, nor have the volume to ask for a custom rate then you just need to check around with other filehosts and see where fits you best. If $9 / $6 is not for you and if you can earn more with them then by all means you must do what is best for you. We do not seek to persuade persons to come to squillion if they can do better elsewhere.
The discussion of the rates has been covered quite exhaustively so far in this thread. It would be good if a person tried the system then reviewed their earnings and then made the decision.
Please no more endless discussion of the rates. It has been covered quite a bit. If the rates change i will certainly post that up on the first page.

The speeds are
free user = 100kb/s
registered = 130kb/s
The waiting times between files are
free= 20 mins per 100megs
registered = 10 mins per 100megs
both free and registered can resume their downloads.

Inside your account on the top bar, there is a button called 'reports' if you click this then you will see your statistics.
I am going to request that they change this button to be called stats since more people use that term.
Can you see the stats inside there okay now?

You just need 1 or 2 downloads and the statistics will show up. If there are no files or links to click on then there will be no statistics. Just try to download one link yourself and it should show. Let me know if you have any problems with it.
Most people are starting at $9 / $6 But..
If you have high volume sales they can make you a custom rate larger than $9 / $6 .
Also can get $14 / $6 if you can get 100 sales in the competition date.

Webmoney is hopefully ready next week. The hold up was the currency, webmoney only works with usd and euro. However PM me for alternative payment methods. There are a few options we can look at until our webmoney account is activated.
Well in that case you would certainly be able to apply for a custom payment plan also.

As soon as we get our webmoney account activated we will certainly message you and post it on the thread and website.
We have some other people using the system who are now wanting webmoney too. Some can accept bank wires and some wish to have webmoney only.
We are looking at paying out webmoney to some persons through an exchanger until our own webmoney account is active.
If anyone can put forward a good webmoney exchanger we could use that whilst we are waiting.
In this period we are paying the bankwire fee's to make up for having no webmoney available at this time. Of course the payout needs to be a reasonable amount else the wire fee's are a very large % of the payout. So mostly only use for those with reasonable volume and larger volume.
