I am posting other host files below as a mirror and have more sales from it (you are my main filehost).
I must use mirror because website owners dont allow single files, only with some mirrors!

They have looked and agreed to push this mod to the top, they are going to try and have the premium only links go directly to the premium only page and also have the ability to sign up directly on that page too.

Sorry i just notice your other point here. Yes, if you use mirrors with exactly the same files on the same page. Then this will grossly effect your sales. The consumer will not choose the most expensive filehost if he can get exactly the same content from a cheaper place.

For those that use mirrors we are perhaps considering letting them choose a lower price to charge for memberships. However of course it will mean lower payout per sale, but could balance if you get more sales.

PM me a page so i can see an example of exactly what you are talking about.

My sales ratio is very good with squillion in the top 2 hosts i use, but only because there are no mirrors now. When i had mirrors on some sites then sales were okay but nothing like now.

I have said to you before claire that for those using mirrors you MUST allow them to charge less maybe 9.99 price. However keep the price at 11.99 for those that want it kept at that rate and dont use mirrors. You should take this advice :)

Some people must have mirrors thats how some places work.

Can i ask if you think reducing the price to 9.99 euro would be a good idea? this would make it more competitive with other in the mirror set. Please let me know your thoughts.

I would put a new poll up about this matter but i have not yet found how to change the poll to new one.

I think that people who need to download my file will buy it in every case either it will be for 11.99 euro or 9.99 euro. But I think you must to change your "Buy Premium" page as I said before. Also you need to put more billing options like alertpay and credit card...

Thanks for your feedback about this, actually there are some new things coming with regarding billing :)

Also, yes they fully agree the premium only page needs to be directly accessed from the link. This will happen.

This file is available for Premium Users only.

Yes, it will be better than that, on the very page where it says this file is premium only. There on that page will only be the buy a premium membership only option. No other options and no need to go to other pages.

Just give us a short time and it will happen. Thanks for sugggestions.

They are trialing (testing) a new sale price of 9.49euro instead of 11.99.

Since a lot of people asked for this lately.

However if it does not make at least 30% more sales they will put back up to 11.99 because that will prove to everyone here that cheaper prices do not make more sales in all cases.

Also soon they are trying a mod out where people can choose their price plan from a set of options.


At the end of the day, if the affiliates are not making more sales = more funds over all then they can choose to put their prices back up to 11.99.

Many said the price of squillion was too expensive, we will see if the price change is what everyone expects.


Those other billing cycles will be considered when the new billing system is released in the near future too :)

Hi,

Soon we'll get a poll up for this. Also the ability to set your own price is something they are looking at too.

If sales go up, then you will make more. They didn't put the price down because they wanted to. They did it because the vast majority said squillion was too expensive and wanted it put in line with other hosts.

The longer plans are coming when the new billing methods arrive.

The direct linking from premium only files to the premium only page is ready now. In the next few days that page will also be changed so that a person can only become premium from that same page and have no other options, they will not need to leave that page to sign up for premium access.there are lots of changes coming but it will take a little time to get them all out.

2. Please avoid giving free premiums to downloaders, if given then with good proof of previous uploading statistics history.

3. Remove resume option for free users.


4. Add creditcard payment option and as more as you can.

5. Make 3 Month,6 month ,1 year cheap premium plan.

6. On premium page, remove registered option and there will only premium option which will redirrect payment method option and another for only free users download with captcha and 30-60 second waitng time with no resume option.
